Katsuyu is the strongest animal? Maybe...?

Katsuyu obviously is the strongest summon, considering the other summons are using only physical attacks, attack that are useless against her.

I doubt it. No you aren't understand what i'm saying here. ALL OF THE FROGS (elder toad/Gamabunta and etc) = KATSUYU , ALL OF THE SNAKES = KATSUYU. Why? Because she is the only slug in the world.

If you want to count the bijuu or humans as animals then katsuyu definitely isn't the strongest, but if not I would say she is likely quite up there. I don't think any of the other animals we have seen would be even close to her size except for the turtle island. The acid spit would cover an extremely large area as well. A downside to being so huge though would be maneuverability, especially for a slug. But then again she could fix this maneuvering problem by splitting apart... Fukasaku is quite powerful, and his size gives him great maneuverabillity in comparison to katsuyu. Really I don't think katsuyu would be able to hit him, but she is so big would he be able to beat her before he is out of chakra?

This strongest animal question is definitely perplexing. There are a lot of animals in the world and we have only really seen the strength of slugs snakes and frogs. I'm going to have to agree and say in most cases a full bodied katsuyu would probably win a fight against a single frog or snake, or really pretty much any other animal (pains summons might be able to beat her). Also she is clearly more durable than frogs and snakes i'm unsure of (manda was still in tact after a nuke). But katsuyu has survived through pretty much everything, and with her healing seems near unkillable, at least in a fight against other non human non bijuu animals.

Katsuyu is too maneuverable .. are we forgetting she can split into many different portions? And each portion can then use acid? =x

Manda II says hey, he blitzes and eats her.

Eat her.. cool... she splits up in his mouth and spams poison on the inside. Whats he gonna do then?

Animal path is a path.. not a summoning.

Manda was about to be solo'd by Katsuyu... Sure you can post the scan where he was about to eat her.. but its pointless, since she could have easily spat out poison inside his mouth. Not only that one of the slugs can travel inside his mouth and easily put poison inside. .

Gedo Mazo isn't an animal

Kurama is an being made purely of chakra. Not really considered an animal.

100% Katsuyu is not even canon & probably never will , there're a difference in seeing her in action & just hearing about her , this is just like Hiruzen, can't bring it into a thread or fight until we actually see her .

& strongest animal ? I highly doubt it , there's Kabuto's Manda , Pain summons which are animals , Kurama etc .

Slugs> Snakes. Katsuyu > MandaII.

Pains summon can also be liquefied.

Bijuus don't count as animals in the manga. O_O

Yh probably, I don't even know why they revealed that theres some super huge katsuya because I don't think we will ever see it as well. Maybe we might see it in a shikkotsu forest moment in like a flashback or something. Like how we saw the old toad and that snake.

Same reason why the revealed that there have been many people who tried to use sage mode, and have contract with the frogs. Same reason why they said many frogs live on mount Moyaboku.. but we only saw about 5... Same reason there are more snakes than just Manda.. and Aoba but we only see them..

I don't think it's a big deal. I'm just saying we have seen the head frog and snake. But on both occasions it was well Jiraya first was talking to his but i mean we saw it for Naruto's SM training, kabuto's SM training flashback we saw the head snake. So i was kinda hinting to another SM flashback or something to come.

lol the main possibly has some connection to Hashirama i would assume or maybe the whole Senju clan, though i believe all 3 of the main summons could be related to the Senju clan.

He probably did but then why enma for him lol, I don't think they just randomly aquired summons. I always wondered how people came accross these summons to get contracts.

Tbh enma can't do anything to katsuya based on what we've seen so far. She can just hold him captive in her gelatinous body.
