( Katon: Hosenka Tsumabeni ) - Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user unleashes a volley of shuriken with one hand, while at the same time exhaling fire-infused chakra onto them in order to increase the weapons' destructive potential by making them capable of inflicting severe burns upon direct contact with either the intended victim or any other object caught within their trajectories. Due to the chakra-based nature of the flames that surround them, the shuriken will continue to burn after impact, regardless of the flammability of the object that they ultimately collide with.
STRONG POINTS
(1). If the opponent uses a relatively weak Water technique, the inflamed shuriken and the water would collide to create steam which would block the targets view and he would fail to see the other shuriken moving towards him
(2). Because the shuriken do not stop burning even after making impact with an object, the user can use chakra strings (Like Tenten) to freely manipulate the shuriken
(3). Since the shuriken never stop burning, the user can quickly use a Futon technique after releasing the flaming shuriken to cast off the flames from the shuriken and create a massive inferno
WEAK POINTS
(1). Shuriken are almost always used to ambush the enemy and this technique would reveal the user's location
(2). The opponent can simply counter the shuriken by throwing shuriken off his own
(3). The heat produced by the flames, would increase the temperature of the shuriken even if slightly and increase the rate of diffusion slowly down the shuriken
COMBOS
(1). The shuriken can be infused with Futon chakra before inflaming them
(2). A similar Futon technique, called Wind Release: Rotating Shuriken can be used with it making the technique very strong. A strong B rank Flaming Shuriken technique
COUNTERS
(1). Earth Release: Multiple Mudshots if aimed properly can be used to slow doen the shuriken and cool down the flames
(2). The opponent can simply throw shuriken of their own which would collide with the burning ones, stopping both of them
( Katon: Onidoro ) - Fire Release: Demon Lantern
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the atmosphere around him to create several ghost-like flames resembling heads with horns and yellow eyes that then attack the target/s in a swarm.
STRONG POINTS
(1). If the user is hiding and preparing to ambush the enemy, he can quickly this so whilst the enemy would be concentrating on the ghost
- like flames, the user can quickly use techniques like Water Release: Starch Syrup Capture Field, Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld or Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Needle
(2). As shown in the anime, the ghosts are many in number making it difficult for the user to evade each and every one of them
(3). Although it might not be able to scare away the user, it probably is effective against summons
WEAK POINTS
(1). The ghosts are quiet small in size and to many in number so a strong Suiton technique used might even cause all of them to get extiguished
(2). They merely burn the opponent a bit and since there are so many in number, their 'burn' might even be equal to a D rank technique or even E
(3). N/A
COMBOS
(1). If I am correct, the ghosts are quiet dense. This way the user can quickly attach multiple explosive tags onto them as they are released and at the correct moment, make them all explode
COUNTER
(1). Although many might disagree with me, I believe a simply technique like even Water Release: Rain Tiger At Will would even be able to extinguish the explodes because there are so many ghosts, the chakra is greatly divided which means the ghosts only if all are joined together would be considered B and not if they move here and there on their own
