I know this is kind of random but isn't the puppet body of Sasori technically called scorpion since technichnically the body itself is no longer Sasori but a puppet and the chakra core that controled it was (and apparently the others via traveling to different puppet bodies) Sasori.Kankuro also has Sasori, with modifications!
When I first saw that in the anime, that cylinder...heart thing that creeped the hell out of me then they said that was the actual Sasori (conciousness and chakra) and that freaked me out even more. When you mentioned it that just brought it back. I remember hearing something about Kishi orriginally wanting the members of Akatsuki to be demonic or like monsters...most of them are too (or most were).
