who would win if neji with kusarigama(ninja tool) comes up against kankuro?

kankuro would probably win with difficulty and if he had time to set up.
Neji has no real long range experience (making ninja weapon useless). Although he would be able to see the chakara strings, and sever them. A big problem for kankuro. However, kankuro would know this, been in contact with leaf alot, and would set traps w/o any chakara infusion, like land mines or that puppet that rises up from the ground to catch its prey.
Then on top of all that Neji would have to defend against the long range attacks of sasnori puppet. So could easily lose track of surroundings.

u forgot that neji is immune
to traps, i meant that he is kind of traps detector, so probably they cnt get him!
Furthur more his fingers can cut thru chkra strings!

I think I read that someone said neji needed long range attacks?
well he got Air Palm =) and to protect himself he got Rotation =)
he can see traps and can cut kankuro's puppet strings...

It's true Neji would have a difficult time against any experienced long-ranged fighter. But he's already been through his worst long-range experience against Kidomaru long ago. Surely he's learned a trick or two in dealing with them. People like Neji don't leave themselves vulnerable to anything twice.
Neji's Byakugan essentially renders any traps useless. He could easily sever Kankuro's puppet strings. Plus, he could locate Kankuro because he can see his chakra strings. If Kankuro can't hide then he loses the long range advantage he has against Neji.

I would like to say neji because kankuro was crapping his pants at neji's power in the chuunin exams, but from what we've seen kankuro has gotten more powerups than neji has, so I have to go with kankuro.

Kankuro being a long range fighter who uses puppets that don't have chakra points and uses poison gas is already a bad matchup for neji. Add the fact that kishi has given him more powerups and you should know the winner.

dude....the puppets cant harmneji,,, the rotation can block em .....and not frgettin the fact that neji can cut chakra strings!!!!!!!!!
