Re: Kamui's 1-shot prowess is still Intact! Chapter 659 proves Kakashi's Kamui >> All
@Minator93
It seems, you don't understand fully how Kakashis Kamui works and forgot also it's basic conditions.
Something fundamental about Kamui: Kakashi has to take his time to forge chakra, then he is able to activate Kamui. That's from my databook and it was shown in Kakashis fight with Deidara and Obito.
If these prerequisites are satisfied, Kakashi can it use two times consecutively(I will prove it later with chapter 276).
For example:
page 2 chapter 595
After that Kakashi forged chakra while Guy and Naruto fought Bee. After some time:
However, it's only logical, if the larger the Kekkai for Kamui, the more chakra is needed, right?
Now the second matter, the Kekkai:
Kakashi grasps the aim in a Kekkai space and concentrates his mind upon a point before himself. The Kekkai itself is inflexible, if the target moves around, it isn't able to follow. That's the difference between Amaterasu and Kakashi Kamui, with Amaterasu the black flames come directly on the point, which is targeted by the caster. In the case of Kamui it's different-Kakashi elects somewhere for him a point and in the middle of this Kekkai the space will distort and draw the target in.
Example:
In the beginning, Kakashi had the problem, that he coudn't control the Kekkai.
Nowadays that's not the case anymore, that may be true, but the main issue is still present. If someone is [unpredictable] in motion, the Kekkai can't follow anymore and the target will escape.
The head from Gedō Mazō was targeted with Kamui, but it could escape with Kuchiyose no Jutsu.
However, on the other hand we have seen that Kakashi can now absorb moving things like a Kunai or a Kage Bunshin, if they are moving in a straight curve and not fast.
I guess, it's clear that Kakashis Kamui isn't using the abilities of the Sharingan-especially forseeing of movements- up to the border, because Kamui is more complex than Amaterasu, for instance.
That's way Kakashi didn't absorb Susanoos arrows directly, but with a Kekkai right in front of him. All he had to do was to use Kamui in front of himself. Sasukes attack had targeted this place anyway.
Matter 3:
The reason, why Kakashi can use Kamui so much and near-instant is simple. It's true, he got a lot better with his Mangekyo Sharingan, no doubt about it.
But Kuramas chakra, which he received two times, is the main-factor.
That's why Kakashi could take Gedō Mazōs arm. Even if he lost the chakra cloak, the effects are still present. Sakura mentioned that.
Kamui is strong, but not as much as perfect as your statement would imply it.
