It's true that Kamui was incredibly useful to Obito, but this cost him his battle skills.Instead of dodging,he would always rely on kamui when he was about to be attacked, thus making him arrogant in battles.
However there were times when kamui wasn't that much of a help and so karma hit him big time.
Because of kamui,Obito:
-got heavily injured by Minato and lost control of kurama
-almost got killed by Konan
-got his mask broken by Naruto
-got heavily injured by Kakashi(in the kamui dimension)
Also when he became rikudou, kamui was no longer a factor and he still was relying on his new powers. With his abilities to dodge and block attacks lost,he still got his ass kicked by Naruto and Sasuke and in the end lost the battle.
So,my conclusion is that the only thing that truly defeated Obito was his kamui.Great power, but came with a big price.
