Kamui cost Obito's skills

It's true that Kamui was incredibly useful to Obito,but this cost him his battle skills.Instead of dodging,he would always rely on kamui when he was about to be attacked,thus making him arrogant in battles.


However there were times when kamui wasn't that much of a help and so karma hit him big time.

Because of kamui,Obito:

-got heavily injured by Minato and lost control of kurama
-almost got killed by Konan
-got his mask broken by Naruto
-got heavily injured by Kakashi(in the kamui dimension)

Also when he became rikudou,kamui was no longer a factor and he still was relying on his new powers.With his abilities to dodge and block attacks lost,he still got his ass kicked by Naruto and Sasuke and in the end lost the battle.


So,my conclusion is that the only thing that truly defeated Obito was his kamui.Great power,but came with a big price.

You mean Tobi? Because he still a ton of skills without kamui. He wouldn't of soloed the Uchiha police force if he didn't have skills
As for Obito he's shown fairly good skills especially when he uses those fuma shurikens, but kakashi in hand to hand combat is a bit better than Obito. Both had the sharingan so they were able to read each others movements but overall they reach around the same plainfield in turns of taijutsu in the battle.

Kamui > obitos skills so he didn't lose anything. He wouldn't survive to Part 1 if it wasnt for kamui. A rocket launcher is a lot more useful than having great skill with knives. You have it in reverse.

also he was the first one to become a sage of six path, he was able to trick itachi, he could come back to life to troll kakashi, obitos powers are hax and have no disadvantage to then, while unless you happened to **** up and not kill the person who killed your wanttobe girlfriend and take back idk your eye. shit would be ****ed if obito had two eyes to begin with and kakashi wouldn't even have a tight name like the copy ninja or lighting god anymore because those are notin but obitios eye doing the hard work for kakashi.

It's like saying kakashi pre sharigan had a greater potential than kakashi with sharigan and that's just not ture since as soon as kakashi got sharingan everything he already had increased and he became the most famous ninja in the world by far and most respected...

Kamui has not hurt obito at all and it never cost him that fight against minato, do you not realize that was a battle of speed only whoever had the faster space/time jutsu was going to win and since eminsto's is solely speed and kamui is on reaction time meaning a 13 year old obito isn't going to have the battle experience to understand how to counter or react to ftg which minato barely beat him in speed, if he didn't have kamui none of that would have even been possible there is no way he would have snuck in there to steal baby naruto and Kushina and release the kyuubi if kamui didn't allow him to pop up anywhere...


Also naruto only broke his mask because of kakashi and killer bee and gai helping him and especially kakashi since kakashi used his kamui to counter obito's it was clear obito was way out of Bm naruto's league naruto wouldn't have ever touched him if not for kakashi's help, it kind of shows just how powerful bit was cuz it toOK 2 perfect Jinchuuriki's and a ms user and a master taijutsu user to even compete with Obito that speaks volumes...also he could have been using kamui to escape kakashi's attacks but since ether fought in the kamui world is kamui'd parts would have went to the real world and that would have left him vulnerable to naruto and the SA so he had to fight straight up so kamui wasn't his downfall and he barely got defeated kakashi was badly hurt as well and they were evenly hurt but when madara tried to use bz to over take obito that made obito even hurt worse...
