kakuzu does have some skill in hand to hand combat but enough to trouble kisame to much

Kakuzu only has one attack per element, and his earth style attack is a defensive one meaning that he cant use it to beat kisame, only to try to outlast him, and outlasting kisame is impossible due to samehada. However his lightning element attack is a good counter to kisame's water dome technique, prevenying him from using his strongest attack. Kisame also has earth element, but that's weak to lightning as well. This goes to kakuzu.

Okay are you seriously right now, it was the Rasenshuriken from episode 140 or something, and now we are at Episode 219, Do you really think that Naruto would kill Kisame with the previous Rasenshuriken from before, if we are talking about the Rasangan from now then it'll be one hit KO.

Do you guys even know how weak Kakuzu is? Naruto used one weak Rasenshuriken against him and died at once, Kisame is much stronger even if he has the hart's lol, remember Kisame can Absorb technique's to let Samehada gain power and strength.

I kinda agree, Kakuzu really isn't that impressive to me. He was a good shinobi but was almost the weakest out of their organization.

Since, Kisame is close range, and Kakuzu isn't, I'll give this one to Kisame if he can into striking distance of Kakuzu. You can replace hearts, but not chakra (I think xd). He'll just need that one good attack.

I respect your opinion, but he fought Kakashi, Ino and chouji (basically 1 vs. 1) and fought Naruto soley when he arrived. Also, in each fight he got caught in basic strategies; Naruto's clones which he used twice and Kakashi sneaking up behind him.

He really fought Kakashi, who was actually having to cover for Ino/Chouji, so it wasn't 100% Kakashi. He still almost won though.

I think he underestimated them and that's why he failed for the basic stuff.

I think Kisame wins this one, due to what I said earlier. One good strike at close range and bam.

Also Kakuzu is maore of a long range fighter and in the old Naruto series Shino stated when fightin Kankuro that long range fighters find it difficult when short range fighters are near them. This alone turns the tide in Kisame's favour. Also Kisame has long range attacks and if he uses the ultimate shark technique he used in his final showdown with Guy, Kakuzu is done for because it absorbs whatever chakra is in its path including techniques.

i cant comprehend why people cant understand the fact all kakuzu has are jutsu's that kisame will just absorb...how are they expecting kakuzu to inflict damage on kisame?
