Lol, who cares what they'd do? Samehada would still saw them apart. He only needs to release his spikes when he's merged since he doesn't have a sword, but when he's in his human form, good old slashing is enough to take care of his threads. Attacking from different directions isn't relevant, one can be evaded and the other can be cut. Kisame and his sword took on V1 B in CQC, and effortlessly outmaneuvered them, so Kakuzu's threads of all things aren't pressuring him.
Underwater they aren't going to catch him anyway, so it doesn't really matter, not to mention GSB is a long range jutsu so I have no idea why I'm bothering to argue if he can get close to him or not.

Absolutely not. Partial fusion with the blade prevent that, or simply cutting the incoming threads prevents that...unless you can prove that the threads will ensnare him before he can do such, but considering him and the sword itself react to V1 B and outmaneuver him, there's literally no issue here.
