Because Kakuzu know exactly how Hidan fights so we would just use his monster to destroy him while he stays at distance, since Hidan's attacks is the slowest of Akatsuki

Kakuzu, who has 5+1(I think) lives. Hidan can kill kakuzu once, but then by the time he needs to kill him 5-6 times, kakuzu would cut of hidans head.
