Maybe with a struggle, but he is reffered to as a senior member by Hidan, Kakuzu, Deidara, and Sasori. Plus, he has the largest chakra amount of any Akatsuki member. And that's saying something. O_O

kakuzu with some effort.
he only died becuz he got hit by on of the strongest jutsu's out there.
in fact he was still breathing and kakashi had to finish him off.
kisame might have a lot of chakra, but kakuzu would have an elemental advantage and i dont see kisame breathing after getting hit by frs.

I think Kisame would win because when he fought against Gai team he smiled all the time like they werent a match for him and they didnt his clone only had 30% of his chakra we didnt saw Kisame being serious he allways had fun fighting

atm im going for kakuza given the hearts and chakra abilitys but thats because i havnt seen everything from kisame atm apart from him fighting at 30%.

1 reason is that his skin hardening jutsu would make him un-effected by kisame's sword
