ok lets start your saying those random side ninja could really take down any of the edo's your saying kakashi wa chosen for hokage bcuz hes popular? and his age? tsunade is 50 and she was chosen and she wasnt even in the village so how could she popular. kakashi is ssmart. strong, and has great experience. he was chosen bcuz he was strong enough to be. and kakashi has low stamina? hes been using sharingan for days now and even turned on mangekyo and did lightning blades and is now fighting bijuus. please low stamina? in part 1 maybe he has about average now

Tsunade to my knowledge along with Jiraya were chosen because they are Sannin. And to my knowledge and belief the Sannins are world wide famous shinobi. Copy Ninja Kakashi is also well known, they are names which are famous and passed through the shinobi world that I would consider a fact. I'm not sure why they were chosen but apart from the 1st three who I assume (due to flashbacks) were chosen when they were young, the 3rd (2nd time) Tsunade, Jirayai, Kakashi, Danzo are all old no? Do you not think that counts? When I say low stamina I don't mean he activates the sharigan and his finished (like before) I mean he can use it, but if a fight lasts more than 10 minutes he'll be at a significant disadvantage, he was outshone in all of his battles in shippuden, wouldn't you agree? Btw he's fighting bijuus yes, but he hasn't actually done anything apart from talk and he has others with huger chakra reserves by his side no?

To be technical didn't Naruto as a Gennin fight a Bijuu in Gaara? Do you believe that makes one Kage level? I'm not debunking you, please don't think I am I'm just asking questions (I hope you arent offended).

Can you tell me your opinion as to why Kakashi is Kage rank please? Ahh fair enough to Zabuza not being S rank, I put him there because of his abilities shown, they would (in my belief) destroy quite alot of S rank ninjas around (that weren't a sensor).

Kakashi is NOT Kage level. Look at what all the revived Kages and current Kages were doing during the war. You will notice a definite gap in power!

I agree, but because some are stronger doesn't necessarily mean he isn't on par wit some. We all know or rather, believe the fact that the previous Kages are stronger than the current ones, and they are getting weaker with each generation it seems, would kakashi stand above them or beside them?

yes bcuz he only cut off the bijus arm with lightning chain saved naruto and kakashi got faught naruto and sakura an entire day with sharingan on. did the hidan and kakazu fight last 10 minutes ? cuz he fought hidan with it on didnt get hit at all and used 4 lightning blades and still was moving around -_- yes and the sannin are strong thats why they were chosen just another fact of why kakashi was also chosen to be hokage bcuz hes strong ......

I agree, to a degree. It was shown that he fought naruto and sakura with the sharigan on, this proves that he can sustain the usage of it for longer periods of time. However was he shown using any abilities in this state? Do you think he could last that long if he using Chidori or Kamui or Katon? Thankyou for your opinion I would just like to add that I believe Kakashi was chosen (yes because he was strong) but also due to his name, at the time there were no strong (Kage Rank) ninjas in the village as they are all pretty much dead. So they chose him on Merit, I was thinking back to when Orochimaru attacked or if Madara attacked or Tobi attacked, would he be able to defend it like the 4th or 3rd or heal like the 5th? I don't want it to be a vs thread and I do acknowledge he is strong, but do you think he's as strong as the previous hokages or jman, oro, kabuto, itachi and so forth who are definite kages?

No, all the Kage we have seen in the war have lain waste to scores of ninja. Third Raikage, Second Mizukage, Mu. They have some kind of attack that makes them OP. We just don't see that kind of firepower from Kakashi, and he even has trouble against other jonin levels like Zabuza.

Hiruzen wasnt at his most powerful state when he became hokage, he was 16yrs old but look at him in his prime, therefore kakashi wont be at his best when he becomes hokage cos there is still training even for kages to improve their abilities and bring out their prime best.

Being Hokage Requires more than strength and power, you also need intellect, favoritism, leadership skills, etc. At that moment he had the best balance of all it and was well respected in the village, he was the only m best candidate.

Now when we mention Kage rank it's based off power and ability, with this Kakashi's placement is Jonin, a personal guard of a Kage.

(L) I agree with this too, Every hokage (even tsunade) has something that makes you go "wtf... This person way too strong!!!!" People who you wouldn't dream of fighting one v one. Kakashi has Kamui true, but when he needs help against people like Edo Zabuza... I find it difficult to put him on the Kage level. However it could just be what you people call "plot no jutsu" however I believe that the Sannin or Akatsuki or Previous Kages would lay waste to Zabuza Edo or not.

I agree, Kakashi could be a low level Kage, even against Danzo who is considered a low level Kage I think he would make his maker however. Jiraiya I think was chosen because he is famous and they needed a morale boost. That and he's incredibly powerful. If it was about intellect I'm sure the Nara Clan would be Hokages too no? Taijutsu Hyuuga or Gai, etc etc but I think it's about Moral boost/ Popularity and when the crunch time comes, being a powerhouse.

Gambunta is still a summon which *belonged* to naruto so it's still counts I hope!! Hidan and Kakuzu Kakashi survived but the others had to deal with them because he couldnt do anything, Shika dealth with the former naruto with the latter. Whilst Kakashi was involved, he would have been dealt with just like Asuma if he tried to solo or tank one I think. But like I said before I would agree that Kakashi could scrape into the low kage level quota as long as his stamina is up to par as he is top tier in the S rank level.

Did Kakashi do all of that by himself? Forgive me if I'm wrong but wasn't there a platoon of 100+ ninjas? While he probably did do what you said, Kage's generally would be soloing/tanking those situations and I don't believe Kakashi quite can, but I'm opinion to reasons why you think he would be able to?

Let's not play dumb, Jman and A are superior power/ability and had all the other qualifications to be Hokage/Raikage.

As you stated he's good in just about every area, but nothing special(superior in anything). He has kamui, but that isn't enough to put someone at Kage rank. Personally I like Kakashi, he's a koo shinobi but he just doesn't have it IMO. At best a Kage guard, they've been very impressive as well.

I would answer to my knowledge/opinion The third and 4th raikage, the first 4 hokages (not sure about Tsunade), Orochimaru (as the fake Mizukage) the 4th and 5th kazekage the second and maybe forth mizukage (not sure about Mei Terumī) and the second and third Tsuchikage, in essence, any of them O_O? Do you believe that Kakashi could defeat/solo the seven swordsman of the mist?

actually it was plot no jutsu so naruto could use his jutsu kakashi stated he was gonna use kamui to finish kakazu off and i dont think kakashi would lose like asuma since he faught hidan and the puppets and didnt get hit. also kakashi only had trouble with zabuza bcuz of the hidden mist jutsu and bcuz there were the other swordsman to worry about if u think about it as soon as he was close he got him with lightning blade and he would have died 2 if haku didnt take the hit. and bcuz he was an edo. yeah kkashi didnt have any trouble hiting him at all if it was 1 vs 1 kakashi rapes him and i really dont believe they choose hokage bcuz of popularity

Couldn't one argue that it's plot no jutsu that the battle happened the same way as the 1st time? I think however that term "plot no jutsu" should be banned as it happened regardless, so lets focus on that, to my knowledge the 2nd time they fought kakashi caught zabuza offguard because he was killing someone else? And Haku went in to save Zabuza from being hit from behind again right? I don't know personally what it'd be like 1 v 1 because Kakashi went in their with the whole army bent on saving/protecting him, and everyone was focusing Zabuza to end the mist, so it kind of destroys the scenario imo. Hidan I guess was a stretch to far I was exaggerating there, I believe Kakashi would beat Hidan but Kakuzu though not by a mile. If you don't believe that Kakashi was chosen for this reason or that, that is fine =D I'm not here to change you opinion =D I just want to learn what others believe. However I will state that I think he was chosen on popularity, ability and because there was no-one else left.

Agreed <3 This doesn't mean I believe he is at Kankuro or Temari level, for me it means he isn't quite ready to make the step over the gap to Gaara's level, if that makes sense?

Just as it may sound crazy to put him at temari's level, it sounds dumb AF to put him at any former Kage level. The point is just as they're are low-high kages, there are high-low Jonin, Kakashi is a high Jonin. As far as A we've only seen him in action, but he is the head commander of the war, so that speaks for itself. If you believe that about Jman you're crazy.

As stated before Kakashi is good at everything, but isn't superior in anything.

Now, knowing "1000 jutsu" mains squat, since we don't know the extent of those jutsu. He obviously copied them but fails to use them because they hold no real power in comparison to what he has displayed.

Garra is a general, and other Kages and guards are.

A's family history revolves around being Raikage, he is respected n would do what's best for his village, just as his father.
