Kakashi's hype and portrayal in the Naruto series: the legend of Sharingan Kakashi

Kabuto didn't run away from everybody at all, he was perfectly confident about fighting Tsunade, even fighting her without being serious and without having any killing intent, as he himself addressed. And yet even with preparation and advantages he did everything just to run away from Kakashi, who dealt with him without even uncovering the Sharingan. And later Kabuto will run away again when Kakashi taunts and challenges him to a open 1 vs 1 fight.

Kakashi is clearly portrayed to be much more powerful than Sasuke: he was sure that he could have easily killed Sasuke even if he already knew that Sasuke was strong enough to kill Danzo, and when he said that he was going to kill Sasuke you have Naruto feeling that Kakashi could actually kill Sasuke. And by feats, Kakashi can use Kamui only a few times at that point, yes, but his Kamui was much faster than Sasuke's Susanoo arrow and Amaterasu, so even if Sasuke could spam his Mangekyo while Kakashi could not, Kakashi could have killed him very quickly.

It just means that Part 1 Kakashi is not that far from Kisame's level, since someone who knows Kisame very well thinks that Part 1 Kakashi would give him a very tough fight that he would not exit unscated. That's it.

If Kakashi was said to be Konoha's best ninjutsu master, that was exactly because he was better than Hiruzen. That's simple. Otherwise the statement would have been different. Deal with it.



No one. Obito gave Kakashi the power, Kakashi had the skill to use it in the best possible ways. He would have been a wonderful shinobi even if he never received the Sharingan, his father was someone who was stronger than the Sannin and Kakashi even as a kid was incredibly strong, fast and smart compared to his companions, he literally raced through the ninja ranks, was trained by Minato, learned Rasengan and from the Rasengan created Chidori, all by himself; even before the Sharingan, as a kid, he was on par with seasoned jonin level shinobi from other villages. As an adult, he would have surpassed his father who without the Sharingan was still stronger than the Sannin. And canon no Sharingan Hokage Kakashi is still awesome, he is fast, versatile, with incredible smartness and ninjutsu mastery, especially with Raiton and clones, and has enough chakra to spam his techniques. He even created a new technique, Raiton: Shiden that when Kakashi used it at full power, it basically ripped the sky in half and provoked a storm showing and greatly impressed Onoki, who was put in awe by Kakashi's new jutsu. Kakashi basically created a handmade Kirin.

Add that to great speed and taijutsu, incredible intellect, total ninjutsu versatility. As the Hokage without Obito's eyes he hasn't the Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan hax anymore, but he is still a very powerful shinobi.



War Arc MS Kakashi trashes Itachi, Kakashi has completely surpassed Itachi's level during Part 2, mastering the Mangekyo, increasing his chakra, creating new techniques and gaining better feats in everything.

MS Kakashi > MS Itachi when Kakashi mastered his own MS in the War Arc, Kamui can warp away Susanoo or Itachi in the Susanoo, outspeeds or warps away Amaterasu, and can act without Kakashi meeting Itachi's eyes and so being hit with Tsukuyomi. Kakashi has also more chakra and by feats is faster and with better reflexes and taijutsu, suffers less MS usage drawbacks (he can spam Kamui without dropping his performance in the War Arc while Itachi feels exhausted for some seconds after he uses the MS) and far better ninjutsu; Itachi is better only in genjutsu and that won't be a factor, 3T genjutsu wasn't enough even against Part 1 Kakashi, and Kakashi can just avoid to be caught in Tsukuyomi, as he has full knowledge and a lot of ways to take advantage of that.

Healthy Itachi is exactly the same, just that Itachi doesn't drop when he uses MS; but he still is prey of Kamui GG.

If it's no MS vs no MS, I'd say:

3TS War Kakashi > 3TS Shippuden Kakashi >= 3TS Itachi > No Sharingan post War Kakashi > 3TS Part 1 Kakashi > Base War Kakashi >= Base Shippuden Kakashi > Base Part 1 Kakashi = Base Itachi

War Arc 3TS Kakashi vs 3TS Itachi it's a sure win for Kakashi, who is faster, has better reflexes and taijutsu, more chakra, a far more powerful CQC output (Raikiri, Raiden, Rasengan, Raikiri infused weapon) and trickery and mid range options (Raiton Kage Bunshin, Raikiri extended in Raijuu Tsuiga, Doton underground, Suiton + Raiton combo) with also favourable elements and more mastery of said elements (Raiton, Suiton, Doton vs Katon and Suiton, and by databook Kakashi can use all the elements, even if that maybe is referring to Rikudo chakra enpowered Kakashi), and can hold his own against Itachi's genjutsu (since even part 1 Kakashi was deemed for Itachi to immediately use Tsukuyomi to be beat, as 3TS genjutsu wouldn't suffice; and War Kakashi was on par with Obito in a genjutsu battle, Obito could control even perfect Jinchuuriki).

Then DMS Rikudo Kakashi obviously shits on an army of Itachis lol.

The only thing I will let slide is this whole kabuto was weaker than kakashi when he clearly was not...kabuto always stall kakashi and even tricked a kakashi a few times easily like the time kabuto was in the hospital and acted like he was one of the dead people on the ground only to pop up and jump out the window backwards taking off his mask to reveal who he was to kakashi laughing at kakashi for being fooled...that's was kabuto game he never had any intention on fighting kakashi it didn't help his cause nor oro's it didn't benefit them at all...like I said it's a manga fact oro and jiraya and tsunade all felt kabuto was on kakashi's level...they said it so deal with it...


Ow to this hiruzen vs kakashi ninjutsu debate....clearly at the time of part 1 when that statement of pure hype was said about kakashi he hadn't shown shit he hadn't shown more than 5 jutsu even till the end of the manga I can probably count 15 jutsu at most kakashi has used out of that so called 1000 he has copied and mastered while hiruzen in 1 battle used about 10 different jutsu's...hype is hype just like it's hype hiruzen has mastered all jutsu within konoha and if that's true the the hype of kakashi is contradicted due to the fact kakashi may have 1000 jutsu in his arsenal but there are more than 1000 jutsu in konoha between all the different clans and their techs and jutsu that have been creates by specific people and forbidden techs...


Now to the sasuke vs kakashi argument....

Your whole point is based on what naruto felt kakashi could do and what kakashi thought he could do...you said naruto felt kakashi could kill sasuke...but naruto didn't know shit about sasuke's current level nor did he know about his ms or his training since the village he just **** rode kakashi, and Kakashi didn't know shit about Danzo other than he was a old ass konoha advisor, kakashi didn't know DANZO had all those sharingan or Senju DNA had he known that that would mean he would have knew about itachi's TRUTH but he didn't he didn't even believe Tobirama when he told him about the Real itachi so kakashi using Danzo as a gauge to judge sasuke's strength meant kakashi thought Danzo was weaker than he was and that's not the case, and I don't see any scenario kakashi could beat Danzo...put him in sasuke's places and after 2 kamui's Danzo would still be alive due to izanagi that he can use more than 2 times...lol kakashi loses to Danzo who sasuke beat while blind battered weakened...Sasuke had surpassed kakashi since the start of shippuden, his speed was greater, his ninjutsu usage/output was greater, had greater battle tactics and more lethal tactics, sasuke was just all around better, mid shippuden bridged the gap due to kakashi gettin 2 kamui usages but like I said ms kakashi loses to ms sasuke...2 kamui isn't going to save him, he would he on the defensive the whole fight lime he was when they had that little clash under the bridge after sasuke wrecked Danzo, even then sasuke forced him to waste 1 of his 2 kamui usages within the first minute of the fight so imagine if sasuke didn't go blind and could sustain Susano or would have been fresh for that fight he would have followed up that Susano arrow with another on behind it or amatersu, then a kakashi would have wasted his other kamui on that and without kamui kakashi was not lethal or a threat to sasuke...


This itachi thing is not even worth it honestly we all see the kakashi wank...


It's clear part 1 itachi was on level 10 while kakashi was on level 1, early shippuden kakashi needed naruto's help to fight a 30% clone itachi so that kept itachi at level 10 while kakashi went up to a level 4 and war arc kakashi was a level 8 no doubt but if he fought itachi he would still lose, just because kakashi has already experienced tsukoyami and knows what it is doesn't mean he has any way to counter it cause he doesn't, he still loses because of tsukoyami, only a blood relative with a kkg can break it manga and databook says so and a kakashi don't fit the requirements...furthermore even in the war arc kakashi could use kamui I think 4 times on his own but that's not enough to beat itachi...think about it kamui was never an instant attack the user can literally see themselves being warped, and amaterasu happens faster than kamui so when kakashi goes to kamui itachi can easily amatersu his ass and Kakashi let's it go, kakashi had 4 uses or kamui while obito had infinite yet he still dared not to challenge itachi...

Obviously dms kakashi beats itachi...that's the only kakashi that wins



Think about this kakashi is the most hyped character yet he never really did anything special...

To be so famed and hyped he didn't beat the top tiers of shinobi he always beat those above average...

Zabuza was above average
Kakuzu was above average and Kakashi needed help beating him

He did face the bijuu but he was about to get blown to pieces if not for naruto gaining Bm...

When kakashi faced top tiers he lost low diff

Deva pain low diff kakashi even though kakashi had help

Kakashi has never won a top tier fight on his own, he even had help beating obito and obito was his help himself...


Oh yea I just thought of this...Ms kakashi could not have beaten ms sasuke when he tried so because that same sasuke was equal to naruto even naruto and obito said so but that same naruto sm version beat the 6 paths of pain while 1 pain wrecked kakashi low diff sm naruto albeit would have lost too but not low diff and didn't lose low diff like kakashi did and he faxed more pains than kakashi and if Sasuke was that naruto's equal the bow could kakashi even compete...itachi would have been able to wreck deva pain low diff but you think a 3 tomoe version of kakashi I'd greater than a 3 tomoe version of itachi??? Boy you stupid

How many of these feats should belong to Obito?

May be all he should have died long time ago if it weren't for obito and got all the fame thanks to his sharingan, man obito should have killed him and took his sharingan back in that way we have ourselves a more powerful villain.
