All this time Kakashi has been portrayed as a stoic mentor-type person that is convinced of his ideas, but this chapter shows us he has, in fact, been struggling with a "dark side" of the same nature as Obito's.
Kakashi said that it was Naruto who fully convinced him.
It means that even at the beginning of the series, Kakashi still had some darkness inside of him. In fact, he could have defected the village just like Sasuke.
I think this is a very surprising character development for him. At the same time I wonder how things would go if Kakashi really succumbed to his doubts and became like Obito.
Does anyone else think this situation is similar to Naruto's statement about himself and Sasuke that they could have easily switched places if things went only a little different?
