Konoha was attacked when Kakashi was the Hokage but Sasuke prevented the village from being destroyed.

I guess Sasuke didn't have the chance to protect Konoha for Naruto too. Maybe he was stuck in another dimension and couldn't do it? idk.

The thing is, Kakashi could only manage to develop Konoha that much because Sasuke was there to protect it for him. Since Konoha was completely destroyed during Naruto's watch, we can assume Sasuke couldn't be in there to protect the village for him as he did for Kakashi.

My bet is that Sasuke got stuck in another dimension, that's why he couldn't do it.

OP we don't know the full story of that though, on how the village was destroyed, and who Kawaki is and what happened to Naruto.

I get what you saying but you must also factor in the fact that Hatake was Hokage during piece time an every1 was rebuilding their respected villages.. He's great Hokage in that aspect for sure but it was no where near the times before where people were at war.

An it's the entire villages duty to protect the village, not just Hokage... Where the hell is everybody else with all their special abilities an techniques...

Can't blame it all on the Kage when it's an entire village!!!.

Kakashi piggybacked off of Naruto savng the world to even be able to do that, besides this is technically the same as pein destroying konoha, we don't know the outcome yet so it's too early to judge. besaides the city may have been built by naruto cuz it wasn't there during the last during kakashi's reign
