Please, if the Uchiha used the Sharingan like him(actually utilising it's abilities) then you wouldn't have Konoha or the Senju clan.
OT: He had the Sharingan and had limits(very important) yet skill to take maximum advantage of it. He made it interesting/entertaining instead of being overkill from the get go. That's one of things that makes a good well written character imo.

Stating "Better than most Uchiha" is actually an insult considering the only thing he utlized it for was copying.. Also lets not forget he loses to every single uchiha who posses a sharingan so how exactly did he do it better?

Part 1 Kakashi is up there with Kabuto (They're on the same level according to Oro and Jiraiya).
And that's not bad at all.
His 3t shraingan skills were good compared to what we've seen from Sasuke and Itachi (Itachi only used his MS techniques in part 1/No explanation needed for Sasuke).

For a non Uchiha with one 3 Tomoe Sharingan that drained him extensively, He did fine. He isn’t an Uchiha so couldn’t fully utilize it. It’s nit his Kekke Genkai.
You saw what happened when he was blessed with Uchiha chakra during the Kaguya fight. Fodder? Hardly.

YES i think zabuza was a ball fodder and kakashi got hyped from it...
He couldnt even use kamui once in part 2 without gasping for narutos charka tits.
If a child like sarada could pull off the same feats with just 1 t then kakashi is foddder..

I liked the fact that kakashi grew throughout the series. Like kakashis part in this series is one of if not my consistently favorite thing. He did seem weaker than I thought he would be, he also ended up alot stronger than I expected as well.
Like we always kinda figured at some point naruto and sasuke would reach hashi and madara style levels, but kakashi for me was up in the air, especially during the beginning of ship.
I think they did good, it wouldn’t of been as fun or satisfying had he been war arc powerful early on, he’s in it too much imo

kakashi was cool in terms of power wasn't the strongest but by far wasn't the weakest, though rather than take away his sharingan or give him 2 op sharingans and sage chakra i feel the height of kakashis abilities should've been the 1000 jutsu that we never got to see, his kamui and lightning abilities and him keeping zabuzas blade

Kakashi did great with his sharingan for what was in his range of usage. I wouldn’t say he used it better than uchiha we have feats for but I do believe he used it way better than most non uchiha would have.
