Minato have looked into the eyes of the sharingan a many of times and (correct me if I'm wrong cuz maybe I'm just assuming) Tobi has yet to trap him in a genjutsu. Kaka96 told you the reason why he's still alive, he retreated from battle with Minato because he was wounded and gotten the Fox wrestled from him in one move. If you retreat from a battle what does that make you??
