would be a good fight for sure. depends on which point in the series it happened. kakashi develops his abilities a lot throughout the series so at the beginning he would get owned but towards the end he might stand a chance.

I find it hilarious that some people actually think Orochimaru will have an easy time.
Kakashi has come a long way compared to part 1.
Kakashi's bunshin feints are second to none.
Demon Realm was paralysed by Kakashi's Raibushin, and because God Realm had just used Banshou Tenin he was unable to use any of his gravity powers for another 5 seconds. Not only this, but God Realm was completely unaware of Kakashi's location (as he was hiding withint the rubble) and both God Realm's and Demon Realm's back were turned to him. This means that neither Realm would have been able to see where Kakashi was coming from, and being that one was completely paralysed and the other was unable to use his jutsu, they would of had no way of evading Kakashi's surprise attack. We saw that even with Kakuzu (a ninja with far more experience than either Nagato or Kakashi), Kakashi was able to easily sneek up on him without the slightest detection from Kakuzu. I don't see God Realm and Demon Realm being able to detect Kakashi in such a situation. because Chouji and Chouza's attack was dodged by God Realm, that Kakashi's attack would be dodged as well is totally insufficient. Firstly, their attack came from above. With simple periphial vision, a person can tell if something as large as to huge ass fists are flying towards them. Reacting to a lightning fast attack that is coming completely from behind is something totally different.
In other words, choji/chouza hindered Kakashi's attack.
Orochimaru's smart. Kakashi's smarter.
Speed? Both have 4.5 in that tier but Kakashi would have the advatanage in CQC regardless due to superior reactions thanks to the skill with his sharingan.
Kenjutsu? Kakashi. The guy can hold of the likes of Zabuza/Hidan with a mere kunai.
Taijutsu? Kakashi.
Edo tensei? That requires prep, this match happens abruptly...so Orochimaru doesn't have the luxury to summon others.
All in all, the main difference is that Orochimaru's regenerating abilities are insane. Not to mention he can summon if he needs to.
Orochimaru has no counter to Kamui. I realise some people underestimate Kamui, or maybe they just underestimate Kakashi in general.

Deidara has experience in fighting high level Sharingan users. He immediately acknowledged that Kakashi is using an advanced Doujutsu comparable to Itachi's.. Also don't forget that Kakashi was able to quickly absorb the entirety of Deidara's Kamikaze explosion (an attack that would have destroyed the entire forest). Kakashi's aim, speed and efficiency with Kamui has hugely increased since then. Now you could argue that when he used it on Deidara, he "missed" and only got Deidara's arm. However, the only reason he missed was stated blatantly by Kakashi himself. He was unable to control the size and location of the barrier limiting the area of the jutsu.
Since that time, Kakashi no longer has that problem. Kakashi is no longer hindered by these things. He was able to activate his MS instantaneously to blast away the Susano'o arrow sent at him by Sasuke, that too at very close range. That clearly shows his ability to warp things near instantly. Let's not forget that this is the same arrow which caught Danzo, too and would've killed him had he not had Izanagi, which effectively kept him immortal.
In other words, if Kakashi decided to he can warp all of Orochimaru if he wanted to. Lets not forget Kakashi knows exactly how dangerous Orochimaru is. When Kakashi confronted Tobi (who he thought was Madara at the time) he was ready to use Kamui, but it doesn't affect Tobi obviously.
So this match can go either way, the main advantages Orochimaru has is that he's more durable/regenerating and of course his summons.
Kakashi is far more versatile and Kamui is better than anything Orochimaru can dish out.
Some people bringing up Oro's feats against the 4 tails? Have you guys been reading the latest chapters? Lmao, despite fighting for over 24 hours with the sharingan active against the swordsman etc, kakashi and gai saved naruto and were holding off V2 jins for a short while.

honestly people use oro taking on narutos 4 tails form as an example, but that is just him taking on raw power. kakashis abilities with ms and his speed would be a lot better match against oro than just the raw power of the 4 tails. and im sure there will be more abilities that kakashi has that will be revealed during the shinobi war,

Kakashi simply doesn't have the stamina to keep up with a healthy Orochimaru. Orochimaru knows that Kakashi is an elite ninja, he's not going to go in to the fight over confident and not take any precautions for techniques Kakashi may have. Orochimaru would wind up defeating Kakashi for that reason. One kamui is not going to do Oro in, he's far too knowledgeable when it comes to the sharingan to let himself get hit by that without a counter.
