I'm neutral in this thread until i hear some good evidence for both sides but C'mon don't pull the "Oh he knows 100 jutus's and has MS" argument your better than that.


@ The guy that said Kakashi can go 3rd gates... We only know so far that he can open one so don't assume otherwise tell you see he does likewise..

On a side note

Guy is one of the Goku types when it comes to battle he may not be the smartest guy when it comes to other areas but if its fighting he has a plan and shouldn't be taken as stupid.

lol ya i know but think about it, if he knows a 1000 jutsu then he must know a jutsu to defend himself like water wall etc. He also has summonings altho they probably cant hurt Guy. Guy is beast but Kakashi wud have many defensive jutsu, etc. Plus Kakashi's MS took out a Sasoonu arrow, which came very fast! Also we know Kakashi uses clones and hides, so he can do that and as soon as Guy is off guard he can MS, plus he has genjutsu, etc. So yea my point is that 6 or maybe even 7/10 times Kakashi wud win but barely after a lot of chakra lost. Kakashi doesnt have as low as chakra as we think tho, on Pain he used the lightining beast jutsu, 5 rikiris,lightining clone and 2 MS!!! Maybe your right about the Goku type of fighter tho.

they are close, kakashi has an advantage with the sharingan and following gai's speed. Guy is faster than him and has really good attacks like afternoon tiger and morning peacock, but kakashi has a lot of jutsus up his sleeve and is really smar. But i am leaning towards guy since we saw his ultimate attack afternoon tiger which is damn strong and fast. kakashi is smart but they both kno each other well so guy would kno how kakshi fights and vice versa. I lean towards guy but I want to wait to see his rampage if he shows something good I might change my mind. but i say tough fight but guy slightly winning for "now".

I think Kakashi would win this one because hes amazing in ninjutsu and above average in taijutsu and has sharigan, While Guy is a master of taijutsu. To me he is out skilled

Gai would win in the end, as if he was to really go at it to try and kill kakashi he would release all the inner gates including the 8th (death gate) and thus become "stronger that the hokage" so if you take that into account and also the facts that every gate he releases seems to make him stronger, faster, have more powerful attacks, and that he could release enough gates to defeat a weakened kisame with ease. Kakashi may have his M' sharingan and the thousands or techniques that he has learned but never shown, but if gai released all the 8 gates he would likely be as powerful and fast, if not more so, than the raikage. Now remember when kakashi during the chuunin exams said that releasing the 8 gates would make the user more powerful than the hokage? well at the time the hokage was the 3rd, who was called the professor due to the huge number of jutsu he knew, so lets say kakashi knew roughly the same number of jutsu, that would mean that if gai released all the gates, it would make him more powerful than kakashi or the 3rd. So yeah, might gai would defeat kakashi in a 1v1 battle to the death.

yes kakashi can keep up. gai isnt as fast as the raikage so yes kakashi can keep up buuuut his stamina and chakra is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too low which will lead to his death

are we forgetting that gai is wearing weights as well

It is a draw. Guy has his counter to the sharingan. Kakashi has MS so he can track up to like forth gate speed or more. Plus Kakashi can copy every movement Guy makes. So there is no winner.

Kakashi's chakra is low but he dont need much, he can just MS Guy when hes coming right at him, if he gets him its over! Or he can get back and do a whole bunch of jutsus! Oh and Guy at 8th gate is atleast as fast as Raikage, but then he wud die.

kakashi is the copy ninja and can also go all the way to the eight gate even ten if there is. Gai knows he isn't a match for kakashi.

As much as I love kakashi, he wouldn't win this.
If they were going all-out, that means they would be both pushed to their limits, that means Gai would open up the eight gates, probably sixth or seventh. Either one is enough to beat kakashi. His sharingan wouldn't be able to keep up with Gai. Also, Gai is very clever when he needs to be, especially in battle (remember when he fought Itachi, and has defeated kisame). And kakashi can only open the first gate which is not nearly enough to beat Gai.

kakashi's too skillful and talented for gai...

gai's jutsus are effective only to kisame like jutsus...other than that...i doubt a great taijutsu user is effective to a multi skilled shinobi with the likes of kakashi...
