So this is a match between Kakashi and Deidara at where Sasuke fought Deidara. Both have basic knowledge on each other, but Kakashi doesn't know lightning cancels the explosive clay, but he can learn it during the fight.
Kakashi has limited stamina but his lightning beats explosive clay and Deidara is a long range fighter with plenty of clay. Who wins?

Sasuke was able to do it cause he had Manda as a summon, does Kakashi have a summon like that? No he doesn't... Deidara wins. I do like Kakashi far more than Deidara, but this is a very bad match up. Also Sasuke's Chakra is more than Kakashi's!
When Kakashi and Naruto followed him it was not C0 ,it a Suicide Bombing Clone but that doesn't change anything.
Kakashi used kamui not to save himself but to save team Gai and Naruto.
You can see that Kakashi is far away from the explosion and decide to save the teams.
