daruis not hiding. he would just jump in the air or fry the doggies with black lightning. plus hes physically stronger than zabuza and has better sensory awareness. with no mist covering the field, hed see what kakashi was doing and avoid the ground. he isnt stupid.

Kakashi will place him under a genjutsu.

kakashi has little to no genjutsu use against high level opponents.
