current Kakashi is strong, but even against an old 3rd I don't think he could win. Would be close though

everyone who has posted in this thread saying *old* hiruzen is retarded, 1st of all, look how much kakashi has improved since part 1 of nartuo. 2nd, when did we see orochimaru display the power against hiruzen that he displayed against naruto 4 tails?? that's right we didn't. Now tell me how would hiruzen deal with raikiri? his ninja dogs? his speed? his sharingan? especially while being old. Kishi definitely had a different scales of power between part 1, and shippuden so as of right now, kakashi DOMINATES old sarutobi. In his prime? all he has is a title and a legacy, and incase you forgot what shikaku said, *legends from the past are always exaggerated... but eventually someone out does them and thats when new legends are born.* We have no proof how strong sarutobi actually was back then, *on shippuden scale* but from what we've actually seen, theres no way beating kakashi.

As a fan of Kakashi badazzness, I gotta say if its current Kamui Kakashi vs old Sarutobi, its Kakashi. If the third is in his prime or even just 10 years younger he takes it easy.

Hiruzen is just too slow. I like Hiruzen alot, but Kakashi is way faster, and has improved so much since Part 1. Hs chakra increased considerably, along with his speed. Kakashi is a speed demon compared to Mr. Sarutobi. Sarutobi is not a cripple by any means, shown during his fight against Orochimaru and the two kage edos (even though the kage edos were not full power.) Kakashi also has the advantage in Taijutsu unless Monkey King Enma comes out. Hiruzen definatly has the advantage in Ninjutsu. The justsu he shown us when he fought Orochimaru was pretty incredible at the time. But what I am trying to get across is that Hiruzen's only 1 shot technique kills himself, The Demon Seal thing. Kakashi has two 1 shot techs that I can think of. They are: Chidori, and Kamui. Kakashi can also open the first gate of the eight gates, which will increase his strength 5 fold. (People can only use %20 of their brain and muscles, but with the first gate opened people can use %100 of the brain and muscles. The first gate does nothing but help, sinc it does not tear the muscles.) That would give Kakashi the strength advantage. As for smarts, I would say they are equal. Kakashi was a genius before the sharingan, and Hiruzen is so old and experienced, I do not really see someone smarter than him in combat. Id go Kakashi High Difficulty. Their is my 2 cents.

Superior tier shinobi generally have ways around one shot techs (like Kamui, Koto, Ammy, etc), so that it's not able to one shot them... Hiruzen has no such protection. He's killed with Kamui the moment the fight begins. End fight.

I'd give it to kakashi. Most of hiruzen's techs are blocked by kakashi's earth wall and said earth wall give's him time to do his bunshin feints
