[Discussion] Kakashi the NOT copy ninja

I believe it does copy techniques, but it just hasn't really been shown. Chakra natures and chakra manipulation, however cannot be copied. Someone mentioned something about a mist ninja knowing more suiton techniques than a leaf ninja (Kakashi in this case). Location does not necessarily determine elemental chakra nature, as ninja are born with predispositions to certain elemental groups.

Wow, seriously, is this debate still going on?

The explanation is extremely simple; the Sharingan has a recording/copying ability. It enables the user to copy any jutsu if they are physically fit to do so. That's the reason KG's are out of the question. Even if Kakashi knows the seals for a mokuton jutsu, his body isn't able to perform it, so he can't.

Kakashi's affinity is raiton and he can use doton and suiton too. He has explained that every ninja has the ability to master numerous nature types, it's just a hassle to learn to do so. So thanks to his Sharingan he can perform any raiton, suiton and doton jutsu he sees.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Are you serious? Why would Itachi have Amaterasu the strongest blaze(i think) release then? Why would Sasuke have Kirin?
Kishi explained it in Zabuza's speech. Kakashi's copy ability is a combination of a perceptive eyes that let him follow his enemies movements that unnerves them then he casts a genjutsu/hypnotism to make them feel like they're seeing things and breaking down mentally then he has them perform the jutsu he has chosen to completely mind**** them. Also I never said he learned all those jutsu's what I said was that he has those 4 nature types and they don't result in his "copy" technique, kakashi could have used water dragon jutsu regardless of his sharingan.

Amaterasu is not Katon. Kirin is not Raiton.
Chidori is only effective because of Sharingan.

Kakashi sees the users movements with the sharingan, and then replicates said movements. He remembers these movements because he is very intelligent, and then uses them in later battles. Copying.

Your picture helps prove my point, Lee says he copied his technique not his jutsu, also Naruto proceeds to copy Sasukes copying and create the Uzumaki Barrage based identically off of Sasukes Lion barrage. Naruto doesn't have sharingan but he copied the move flawlessly after seeing it once.

Yes Amaterasu is Katon and Kirin uses chakra to manipualte real lightning which is a lightning release jutsu.

Also the manga said itself, if you bothered to actually read it, that kakashi was only mirroring his motions while they were moving, he then made zabuza use water dragon jutsu. Go check the manga that's exactly how it describes the fight

Edit: Also people are saying he isn't an Uchiha but if only Uchiha can enable the sharingan, even if he got it from Obito kakashi'd still need uchiha DNA to use it, so somewhere in his lineage IS uchiha.

It has never clearly been mentioned that one has to be an Uchiha to use the Sharingan. The only part that states you need to be an Uchiha is unlocking the Sharingan because it is a KKG.

If you are saying that the only way Kakashi is able to use it is because he has Uchica DNA in him, then please explain how Danzo was able to use it? Last time I checked, he was definitely not a member of the Uchiha clan.

So no, nowhere in his lineage IS Uchiha.

Besides the name Sharingan ( 写 輪 眼 ) is written with the kanji 写 (utsu, sha) which literally means to copy.
The latter two are the kanjis for wa, rin ( 輪 ) which means wheel and me ( 眼 ) which means eye.

Besides, if Kakashi actually had Uchiha DNA in his body prior to the eye transplant, how come his body reacts to his Sharingan as a foreign KG and he can't deactivate it?

That point alone proves that he isn't affiliated with the Uchiha familywise.
