What everyone doesn't realize is Obito's main power is the kamui. Without it he's the same level as Kakashi. Who is pretty damn strong

the only reason Kakashi can stay on par with Obito on taijutsu is because of sharingan which you should know by now its Obitos eye ,power...

To sum up:
-Naruto, Bee and even more Kakashi and Guy have been already after multiple fights when they faced Obito, who was fresh and ready to roll (and had Gedo Mazo, two immortal bijuus and five immortal V2 jinchuuriki)
-People claim Obito is now, against Kakashi, at disadvantage due to him fighting earlier several strong shinobi at once, but on the other hand Kakashi has been fighting for two days straight with no rest and Obito only for several hours at most. No disadvantage here for anyone, and if any, it's a very slight one.
-Intel DOES make a difference.
-Kakashi and Obito are the only known counters for each other.

Thus, it makes perfect sense Kakashi can match Obito now, since they ARE, in fact, equal. U_U

Let's tally the score:

1) In this pocket dimension, Obito cannot use his transparency kamui. There's nowhere else safe for him to send parts of his body (if he sends them to the real world, where the war is happening, he could be destroyed on accident). Kakashi, however, can still use his Kamui there (teleporting bits and pieces of things won't put kakashi in harm's way). Point: Kakashi

2) Obito's ability to use the sharingan, in addition to his MS kamui powers is effectively infinite. Kakashi, on the other hand, is limited because he isn't a pure-blood uchiha. Even if blindness is apparently not a concern for him, the sharingan does eat up a much larger amount of chakra from Kakashi than it does from Obito. At this level of battle, using chakra inefficiently (especially considering Kakashi's relatively small reserves) is a major problem, and kakashi needs the sharingan to keep up and to use chidori effectively. Point: Obito

3) Obito still does have the Rinnegan. We haven't seen him use it yet because he needed to reserve his power for controlling the Edo jinchuuriki. He doesn't have to worry about that now, so it should be possible for him to start using those techniques. Kakashi has seen most of those abilities before with Pain, but they're still hard to counter. Point: Obito

4) Obito also has wood-release powers and was shown to be pretty good with them. We know that wood-release is a pretty over-powered technique, and is not obviously weak against Kakashi's powers (lighting, mostly). If Obito starts using more of his wood techniques, like his rinnegan techniques, he will be harder for kakashi to counter. Point: Obito

5) In a pinch, Obito still has Izanagi. Kakashi hasn't ever seen that technique before and probably doesn't know about it. Even if he did know about it, Kakashi can't use it. If Kakashi uses Izanagi, he loses Kamui and cannot return to the real world. Obito, since he has two eyes capable of using it, can survive death at least once. Kakashi cannot. Point: Obito

6) Kakashi is pretty smart. He knows about wood release. He understands Kamui now. He has experience fighting the rinnegan. For most of the series Obito's "real" threat has been the fact that he has powers that nobody else understands. Obito is a pretty smart guy too, and has been shown putting together complicated plans and tactics throughout the entire series. But then again, his whole motivation for wanting to pretend Rin is alive (and not using things like the rinnegan's resurrection or Edo Tensei to just bring her back directly) shows that he is a little short-sighted and easy for people like Madara to manipulate. In the brains department, I think Kakashi wins, but not by a lot Point: Kakashi

7) Obito is on a suicide mission. He said so himself. His entire goal right now is to gain a little bit of revenge/catharsis, and then suicide himself to bring Madara back to life. Combine that with Kakashi's Talk No Jutsu and his motivation is starting to decrease. It's hard to try and fight to win when you're just planning to die anyway. Kakashi, on the other hand, is fighting to survive AND to protect his friends. This is a stronger motivation. Point: Kakashi

8) Obito's body is CLEARLY immune to being stabbed. He claims not to have a heart, and has shown the empty space as proof. Kakashi's primary weapon, Chidori, is a stabbing weapon that we've already seen doesn't hurt and cannot kill Obito. Kakashi put chidori right through Obito's chest with no effect. What does he do next, aim for the face? We've also seen Obito recover from serious injuries, like having his arms ripped off. Kakashi, in comparison, cannot regrow limbs and cannot survive being stabbed in the chest. Point: Obito

By this count, the score is 4/4 and it does look like they are equal. However, Obito hasn't started using either of his Wood release or Rinnegan powers, and also hasn't been using Kamui. If he doesn't or cannot use those powers for whatever reason, the scales tip in favor of Kakashi.

Let me compare them as of now.

1. Kamui - Obito and Kakashi have a basically equal Kamui at this point. Obito could go Intangible but in the Kamui Dimension, he seems to lack this ability. Both can simply teleport in and out of the dimension as of now. So, this falls under a tie.. or does it? Obito has humongous chakra reserves and could use the ability without worrying about running out of chakra or going blind but Kakashi has to worry about his chakra reserves.

2. Intelligence - Obito. I'm sorry, Kakashi fans but Obito is smarter. The Uchiha was taught by the Legendary Uchiha Madara and taught about everything from the Rikudo Sennin to the Kyuubi to the Senju and Uchiha Clan etc. Obito excells in Medical Knowledge as well as Kakashi has not shown the ability to transplant eyes. Obito manipulates people, tricks the whole world etc. while Kakashi finds out how a jutsu works.

3. Ninjutsu & Summoning(s)- Obito again wins this. What are notable jutsu that Kakashi has? Raikiri, Chidori and Kamui. Obito has Kamui, Rikudo Jutsu, Mokuton, Vortex Katon, Izanagi. Obito has stronger jutsu and more of them, so again Obito wins this. Now, onto summoning's: well Obito has Kurama and the Gedo Mazo. Kakashi has Pakkun.. this doesn't need to be explained.

4. Chakra Reserves & Versatility - Again Obito. Obito has the deadly Uchiha/Senju Combination. Kakashi has sub-par chakra reserves. In addition, Obito has Hashirama Cells which grant regeneration skills and he was seen tanking a Raikiri to the chest. Obito was controlling 6 Biju and fighting Naruto, B, Gai & Kakashi. Kakashi has used Kamui a couple of times and got exhausted while Obito was using it for prolonged periods of time.

5. Overall - It's clear Obito is stronger. Obito has the Six Edo Jins in his arsenal and the Gedo Mazo as well. Kakashi has nothing on them. He can Kamui them, but Obito will just bring them back and with Kurama Chakra, Kakashi is not using Kamui on all of there attacks as well as Obito's. Obito is in his own tier with Hashirama and Madara. He possibly in his prime even surpasses them.

Obito is way stronger than Kakashi. They're nowhere near equals.

it seems that they are about equal, even though kakashi could have killed him like 4 times already if he wanted.

Henh? No, just no. Obito has Mokuton, Rinnegan, Mangekyo Sharingan, Katon, Uchiha Kinjutsu etc. while Kakashi has Random Fodder Jutsu, Mangekyo Sharingan and Chidori. Obito far surpasses Kakashi - what would Kakashi do against 6 Bijuu and the Gedo Mazo? Obito was fighting four of the strongest living ninja in the world while Kakashi fought random people like Haku. Naruto has near-infinite chakra so he doesn't really count..

he still have all of that, yet the outcome is what you saw, no?

Yeah I did. Obito has regeneration to heal from the Raikiri as well as Izanagi. Did you forget that Obito was fighting Naruto, B, Gai, Kakashi and 40,000 other shinobi? Must have if you think they're equal.

Obito>Kakashi. Sorry. Both of them are weakened, but Kakashi got some chakra from Kurama, and if it weren't for Naruto, Obito would've already killed him way earlier. There's no denying that. Sure, Kakashi fought a lot, but at the same time, Obito's chakra has been spent on the Gedo Mazo, AND controlling his six paths. Obito is stronger than Kakashi. Sorry, dude.

Kakashi is by far better than Obito.
Obito is probably the worst vilain.Kishi offered him all the most powerfull tools ( endurance, senju dna, mokuton, rinnegan, zetsu...) but actually he still sucks.I'm impatient that Kakashi finish him so we can focus on Juubi and new kages.

AND Obito NEVER said that Itachi could beat him. He said if he knew his secrets, he'd be dead right now. He could be implying different stuff. If MS Obito and Itachi went head to head without any knowledge of each other except the fact that they both can't look into each other eyes, Obito would win. I'm trying my best not to sound like a fanboy, but c'mon.

Opinionated bull. If any character has the most powerful tool, it's Naruto, who has the Kurama.

People seem to be stunned by the fact that Kakashi matches Obito in combat currently. Well, it's no surprise to me, because Kakashi is currently equal to Obito.

The most popular argument people use to justify Kakashi matching Obito is that Obito had exhausted himself with controlling junchuuriki, fighting Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi, etc. This, of course, is a valid reason, but let me present a rebuttal.

While it's true Obito has been weakened drastically from his fight against four people (well, duh), we should take into account some other factors as well:

1) It was hardly a 1vs4 fight with two full IMMORTAL bijuus and four V2 IMMORTAL jinchuurikis on his side, even if it was Obito who controlled them. Plus, have I mentioned a Gedo Mazo that pretty much soloed the whole division of Ninja Alliance? :erm:

2) The fight against Naruto, Bee, Guy and Kakashi was Obito's first fight in the whole war. Meanwhile, Naruto and Bee have been fighting already for quite long, both against Zetsu fodder and powerful IMMORTAL shinobi like Itachi, Nagato and the kages. They also had no rest at ALL, as opposed to Obito. However, Kakashi is the main point of this thread, let's look at him, then. Kakashi and Guy have fought even LONGER than Naruto and Bee, because they've been thrown right into action from the very beginning of the war (and they have much smaller stamina than Naruto and Bee). Just to make my point clearer:
Kakashi has been fighting with no breaks (apart from the one for running from one battlefield to another, hardly counts) for two days straight, while Obito has been fighting for about several hours at most!

3) Obito's main strength was his Kamui, or to be more precise, keeping it in secret from his enemies. We could see on several occassions that this is what made him so much above everyone else.
-Obito said that Itachi could possibly beat him if he knew his secret.
-Konan, who had only partial knowledge on Kamui, was able to deal some massive damage to Obito and force him to use Izanagi to survive.
-Kakashi vs Obito fight is just another example of how intel is important; now that Kakashi knows Obito's secret (and he deserves credit for cracking it), he can match him.
Of course it doesn't mean Obito is weak once someone knows about Kamui. He's easily beyond kage level anyway, but... so is Kakashi.

4) Kakashi's and Obito's kamui versions nullify each other. That's correct, the only counter for Kakashi's Kamui is Obito's kamui. Similarly, the only counter for Obito's Kamui is Kakashi's. Only Obito can stop Kakashi's offensive Kamui and only Kakashi can still pose any danger to Obito when he uses his kamui for defence.

How much chakra has naruto given to kakashi though...
