Boruto's use of purple lightning and flying thunder god makes me suspect that Kakashi may have taught him these jutsu. Minato was Kakashi's sensei so he probably understands how to perform the flying raijin technique. He was also known as the copy ninja which lends to the possibility of him having learned the technique. Purple lightning is a jutsu created by Kakashi. These are reasons to make me wonder if he is working behind the scenes with Boruto.
