Most people think Kakashi using the PS is his power and his alone. However, this is not the case. In this thread I will explain why Kakashi is using Obito's power and why Kakashi's PS resembles him yet it's Obito power.
1st event: Sage with Naru/Sasu
The Sage appearing before Naruto and SAsuke and giving them his power was the first time a dead person gave power. Remember the sage died 100's of years ago and now he was able to give Naru/Sasu power. This seems to be a feat aquired by those who have had control over the Juubi / God Tree OR amazing with fuuinjutsu
2nd event: Sage with Edo Kage
The second time was the sage appearing before the Edo Kage from Madara's legs. Once again no one batted an eye about it since he was infact the sage HOWEVER! We forget that Obito has the same attributes as Madara and the Sage considering he was a Juubi-Jin
3rd Event: Obito and Kakashi
Obito appears before Kakashi through a manisfestation of his chakra. With this being his very powerful and potent chakra he was able to pass on his abilities to Kakashi just like the sage did to Naru/Sasu. People forget Obito had the same abilities as the Sage
4th Event: Minato resealing Nine tails
5th Event: Kushina helping with taming the nine tails
This seems to be the main question why people think Kakashi PS is his power.
To be honest, since the PS favors kakashi more than Obito I would believe it to be Kakashi as well HOWEVER!
People forget that just cause power was given to you it does not mean you can't manipulate it to favor what you like.
Examples:
Naru/Sasu using Sage Powers:
Sage gave naruto and Sasuke his powers however They use his powers to favor there own abilities. Elemental/TBB Rasengans and Black Chidori and S/T Rinnegan.
With this said... Obito gave Kakashi his powers to use and Kakashi is using that power to his liking.
