Yes Kakashi was killed by Pain, but who would not have been killed by Pain at that time? Even SM Naruto, if Pain didn't wanted to capture him would have being killed since long time ago.

having said that, you can obviously relate to the praise minato and itachi got as young ninja

kakashi perfected kamui, his most powerful technique and with that addition, he is on the same level as the others.
kamui can suck up amaterasu imo

Kakashi is a hell of a ninja!! highy intelligent, skilled in every aspects, and have raw talent!! Athought he is underrated and underestimated by other fanboys..he is highly praised in the naruto world!! But as far as ablilities, he is not on the same level is minato or itachi..yet! Kakashi is one of my fav ninja too and I get what ur tryna do..u hate to see ppl down size kakashi but the reality is u have to admit that minato and itachi is better!! But don't be too bump out cuz kakashi is still strong..could be a lot stronger if he have more chakra reserve..but hey he's still kage level so that's all it matter lol

lol, itachi and minato both died, kakashis nin jutsu is better than itachis and itachis genjutsu is better than kakashi, the tai jutsu balances it out and dont u dare say itachi has better tai

not a huge fan of itachi, i just respect him but he has excellent taijutsu. Ninjutsu is iffy, Itachi is the kind of guy who likes to keep you guessing and never shows you his full deck or aces up the sleaves.

Everyone who brings up Kakashi talks about his chakra reserves which have obviously gone up at least a bit.

Yet nobody comments on Itachi's, and Itachi just beats Kakashi in one shot. I'm not even super into Itachi, despite him being my top five faves, but NOT the top, and I say this.

Then you guys say, "Well, Itachi got a 2.5 in stamina because of his illness".

WITHOUT proof. Kakashi has a 3.5 in stamina, you guys just base stuff TOO much off of what he said to Naruto about his chakra being "barely average". It's the same shit as ranking Hiruzen in his prime. It was ONE measly sentence, yet you guys use this pathetic strip of words influence the arguments TOO much, and don't judge by "what you have seen. Kakashi has been fighting day and night. He fought the Seven Mist Swordsmen (pretty much taking out Zabuza by himself). Used Raikiri multiple times, and still had enough for him and a clone to pull it off against the Tailed Beasts which are MASSES of chakra.

Him along with Gai held their own against six of the tailed beasts. So stop with the "he's weak" bullshit. Sure, he's not the STRONGEST, but he's definitely a Kage level Shinobi, just a lower tier one. I still think he could kill either Tsunade or Mei (maybe if he goes for Tsunade's head after her Strength of a Hundred technique).
