Why do people think you need to be top 3 in the Naruto verse in order to be successful? If you seriously think Kakashi would be fodder without his sharingan then you are sadly mistaken. He was known to be a genius and became a jonin as a kid all without his sharingan. Minato even said Sakumo was stronger than the Legendary Sannin and no matter how much you think or want to hope that the Sannin were stronger, i'm willing to bet it would be Kishi/Minato's words over what you THINK is true. You can speculate all you want, look at the feats of each Sannin and masturbate to them all you want, but the point is that in the writer's words, Sakumo is stronger than the Sannin. Does that still mean Kakashi is without his sharingan? Who knows but for you to think he's fodder because he doesn't have it is just as stupid as the tobidara theory and we know how stupid that is. Who else in the whole naruto verse would even be able to touch Kakashi after we've just seen he's still in the top 5 of the strongest shinobi's that are still alive after the war? You don't need to be the strongest in the world to be a successful Hokage and these are the things people should already know after reading over 600 chapters of a story... So what was the point of this thread again?

The leader needs wits and wisdom, not just strength. Kakashi might have lost exceptional powers when he lost the sharingan, but he's gained more of the first two requirements by surviving the war.

This again? Kakashi doesn't need to be strong to be a good Hokage, especially now since the war is over and the villains are gone. Konoha is the strongest village anyway with Naruto and the K11 in it, realistically only Sasuke would be a threat, but he's also "good" now. Kakashi won't need to fight, it's wisdom and guidance that this village needs, so stupid things like the Uchiha clan massacre never happen again (thanks for that, racist Tobirama).

Also, how is he not Top 20? Off the top of my head, there are currently the 5 Kage, 2-3 other Jonin and maybe Sakura who are stronger.

-About to be low-diffed by Kakuzu until Naruto saved him.

-Powerless to do anything against Madara, had to watch as Gai went toe to toe with him like a fodder.
-Powerless to do anything against Kaguya (even Sakura was useful) until he got some temporary Uchiha welfare, then he became a fodder again.

-Negged by a gust of wind.

I am glad that Kakashi becoming Hokage DESTROYED Naruto's lifelong dream, though. Props to him for that.
