Kakashi has Only ever used One Gate, It's never been Stated By kakashi nor Anyone else that he can do More.

Why didn't Kakashi use them During his Taijutsu Fight with Kakuzu/Hidan.

Or in his Fights with Ms sasuke, Itachi, deidara, Pain, it would of Helped him out Alot

Or even in his FIght with the BIjuu

all the jutsu involved with the Gates are as follows:

Daytime Tiger,Primary Lotus,Morning Peacock,Reverse Lotus and Violent Leaf Adamantine-Strength Whirlwind. Kakashi has only used one of these jutsu because thats all he can use for now because he can only open ONE GATE.

Until Proven he can open more than this dont say he can. you cant even show me a link that says he can MAYBE open 2

yeah kakashi can use the gates but guess what it never stated if he can use all of them? so if he cant use all of them then he loses but still even if he uses his sharingan with all gates guy is still faster. kakashi even said himself that guy is way faster than him. and guy said he was even faster. so i stand correctly guy wins

well, if you know how a good story works, and how logic is applied to good stories, and then throw in some common sense, and normal thought, you would know otherwise. But, until we see kakashi open more gates, he cant. You can SPECULATE and THINK all you want that he can, but just know, it will NEVER be a true FACT but always just gonna be a hOPE of yours until it is shown in the manga.

But honestly, this thread should have never been made, you clearly dont know how to put up a decent arguemnt, or know how to debate. You need logic. Without it, you are just souting nonsense, and trolling. Simple as that.

for him to beat kakashi he would need all 8 gates. which is suicide because he would die. without the 8th gate. i think kakashi wins. people are underrating kakashi severely. the guy almost became hokage for a reason. if gai could kick his ass by opening a couple gates he would be complete fodder and there would be no point of a rivalry bewteen them.
A one sided rivalry at best. Don't you think the two would have sparred with there full abilities (other than 8th gate). just to see to train them selfs at their max. doesn't that make sense at all.

I think normally, it would be tie. But if guy intended to kill, guy wins. He has speed, power and more stamina. Reason why kakashi was chosen over guy is simply because kakashi is more level headed, not because he is stronger.

good points. but speed and power don't always win fights. What makes kakashi a great nin is his intelligence. the point above is demenstrated with shikamaru in the story line. every fight he has been in the apoint has all the fore mentioned text with aganist him but still comes out on top.
I think they could kill each other. Kakashi with Kamui and gai with the 8th gate.
Please don't say kamui don't count and its slow. All he has to do is look at you and fight is finished.

I also thought that from the start, but the fight against Bijuus shows that Kakashi is on par with Gai 6/7gates open, so i think he is fast enough to keep up.

ahem? I saw nothing that indicated anything of the sort, Gai in his base mode is atleast on par to or faster than kakashi in base, Kakashi may keep up with sight, but speedwise he's not touching Gai with 7 gates, imho he'd lose any race with gai once he opens just the third gate

Kakashi might be able to outsmart him, but if he takes him head on he'll get crushed. True, kakashi can open gates, but we don't know how many. Just because he opened the first doesn't mean he can open all 8. Also just because he can read guy's movements doesn't mean he can keep up with them. He stated that much himself.
