I also thought that from the start, but the fight against Bijuus shows that Kakashi is on par with Gai 6/7gates open, so i think he is fast enough to keep up.

i hate to use this, but thats all plotline. Kakashi being on par with 6/7 shouldnt even be the case. 5th gate is barely traceable..

Kakashi cannot handle ALL 8 Gates. Sorry. First of all, he can only open the 1st gate, barely. Plus, a sharigan will not help you when you are not able to even see movements anymore, hence the fight with Sasuke and "A" at the Summit. Sasuke can read movements with the sharigan and STILL couldnt fully predict "A"'s movements with the Lightning Armor on to hit him with Ameretsu. 7 Gate guy can move so fast that the movement from one single punch IS A JUTSU IN ITSELF. I'd hate to say it, but before he died, 8 Gate Guy would KILL Kakashi. You sir, are on a one-way stop to Troll-ville.

8Gated Gai would Crush Kakashi.

It's said the 8Gated Give you power than surpasses even the Hokage, Kakashi is Low Kage at best.

Kakashi is Fast yes, Gated Gai is faster, Even Kisame couldn't react to his 6gated Speed (Yes he was only 30% but only having 30% chakra doesn't affect Stuff like Reation Speed/Timing.)

While Kakashi is Great at Taijutsu but Even with the sharingan Gai is still superior at It.

I still think guy and kakashi are on par because of kakashi's sharingan but this could change during the battle with tobi.

Yup. It would be stupid on Kishi part to allow kakashi to ALSO open all the gates especially since that is Lee and Gai specialty. There would be no individuality, and would make for bad character originality. We've al seen him open gate 1. So we know he can, But we've never seen him open or mention opening any gates higher than that even when he was lecturing about it in part 1. So no.
