This just came to mind. Ocular vs Ocular. Gates vs Gates. Which team shall come out superior? Express ALL opinions.

This is not a fair fight come on kakashi and lee takes this hmmm. We all know that Gai is weaker than kakashi due to him having kamui and I believe that Lee can beat Neji!, thats just my opinion. :/

I would go with Gai & Neji, however. Just because I believe Gai > Kakashi and Lee > Neji, which would result in Gai vs Lee.

The reason why is because your opinion is not really based on facts lol There is no way that Neji can match Lee speed he is too fast for him and kakashi surpasses Gai in his range of jutsu's. He was elected to be hokage for a reason bro come on.

I would see things playing out differently in rather than it being Kakashi vs Gai/Neji vs Lee.

For one thing, Kakashi could defeat both Gai and Neji one on one, but Gai would be much tougher for him due to his speed, which is basically Kakashi's weak point.

Rock Lee isn't a match for Gai, but he can hold him off long enough for Kakashi to take down Neji, making it a 2 v 1 scenario.

Kakashi's vast arsenal would just overwhelm Neji.

neji wont get hit by a move that lee can hit, his byakugan slows down the movements of his opponents and he just needs one hit against lee to stop his chakra flow.
kakashi can counter gai but it would be hard for kakashi to get kamui on gai.

Counters for Morning Peacock and Hirudora? Kakashi being elected as Hokage means nothing in terms of him being superior to Gai. I suppose Kakashi is superior to Naruto as well given the fact that Naruto is a genin.

I beg to differ, as I once read before, just because Byakugan may grant the user to see movement in slow motion, does not mean they will move at equal speed and carry out the task at hand. However, I do agree with your Kamui theory. But I still give it to Team Kakashi & Lee.

Sorry about that with the whole lee vs neji comment, honestly I was actually reading other vs threads with lee vs Neji so when I saw your remark based on Gai being stronger than kakashi I automatically think that u also imply that neji is stronger than lee. Anyways I know my comment is based on my opinions as well but I believe its has some form of foundation based on how each character is portrayed in the manga. Remember both Naruto and Kakashi was elected to be hokage for there village by other than Tsuande herself, Naruto in the other hand was training with killer Bee and seeing that he was not in the village at that point in time kakashi was the other candidate for the job. Kakashi shows good leadership and is well rounded in terms of knowledge and expertise which makes him a bit superior over Gai. Gai is fast and his gates give him an edge when it comes to speed and attack but remember Kakashi also has Kamui which can be able to counter the gates by teleporting his own body into another dimension.

Besides kakashi sharigan he is just as smart as shikamaru stated in the manga and anime so being brilliant in terms of execution of skills and the amount of information he has acquired from Gai's abilities over the years as being his rival, puts kakashi in a more higher and successful position than Gai.

@ Bold - I suppose you mean Jiraiya and Kakashi. Jiraiya was elected to become Hokage before Tsunade while Kakashi was elected after Tsunade. Does this mean Tsunade > Kakashi because she was elected first? Certainly not. Also, Tsunade hasn't been in the village for years, actually no one even knew her exact where-abouts yet she was elected. It's not like Naruto would of even be considered a candidate as he doesn't fit the job, much like in Gai's case. The point im trying to prove is having a higher rank doesn't necessarily make them superior.

As far as Kakashi Kamui'ing himself to avoid Gai, that is a terrible tactic. Gai who has much better stamina then Kakashi can simply turn it off and wait for Kakashi to Kamui himself back. Not to mention, that would mean Kakashi would have to use his Kamui twice when he can only use it a few times, resulting in him exhausting himself rather quickly.

Yeah, Kakashi is superior in the intelligence department, but is intelligence going to save him from Gai's sheer speed and bone crushing strength? According to the databook Kakashi is only faster then Kisame by .5 which isn't much of a difference. Kisame couldn't even defend himself, much less finish his sentence.
