Sad thing is the fact that you dont realise that Itachi was saying bullshit at that moment. He even said that more backup wouldnt change the outcome of battle. Jiraiya taking on two (or more) Akatsuki squads - thats just silly.

1. You say itachi beats J-man, when the manga says completely otherwise.
2. You say i'm a fanboy just because you have no argument against the pure facts.
3. You build up false statements about amaterasu would kill J-man in an instant. It didn't in the manga, thefore it will never happen.

1. You are Jiraiya fanboy.
2. You dont want to admit that Itachis words werent as reliable as you want them to be.
The fact is Jiraiya neved displayed any justsu or method that would allow him to oppose Amaterasu in real combat. Yep, if Itachi used Ama in that hallway Jiraiya would have been dead for a long time, thats for sure.
He might have not been the strongest, but diffrence between and Jiraiya is small.

Amaterasu cant be sealed by Jiraiyas method while combat becuase it take too much time.

I think you should replace kakashi. with a sannin or kage level then they will maybe have a chance against the 2 brothers. But if said so then the uchiha brothers will win because:
Itachi vs kakashi=Kakashi discovers Itachi and Kisame in search of Naruto's Kyuubi. Itachi fights Kakashi. At first, Kakashi is amazed at Itachi's speed and realizes that Itachi is moving so fast that he cannot copy his movements. Itachi uses the Magenkyou Sharingan, but it turns out that a Sharingan user has some resistance to this. So, he uses the illusion power of the Magenkyuo to make the illusion of stabbing Kakashi with lots of swords for 72 hours, while in the real world only one second passes. The pain of these swords stabbing him is real. When the illusion is over, Kakashi realizes that Itachi could have killed him, but didn't. He then passes out, and Gai appears to defend him. Itachi says that they didn't come there to start a war, and he and Kisame leave.
Here itachi's meaning was to not hurt a konoha ninja. and not start a war.
IMO same with Jiraiya. Itachi's dream was konoha how could he kill one of the ninjas while he slaughtered his whole clan for this peace?
But Jiraiya will put itachi on his full limits till susanoo then i think the end would be for Jiraiya.
IMO he can beat jiraiya and kakashi but not at the same time.
I am making this conclusion cause i readed the manga good.
