When was it confirmed that he will loose his eyesight. Better question how did he get MS in the first place. I feel like at this point that question has lost its value and will never be answered

It might be straining him, but so far we haven't seen him have any trouble regarding his sight, so I think it's just a strain in his eye, not a sight problem. He doesn't use Kamui that regularly.
