Kakashi fought Hidan + Kakuzu with just his left basically

Let's look on facts:
1. Kakashi was handicapped - he also had to fend off Hidan while fighting Kakuzu
2. Kakashi was handicapped - he needed to waste chakra for rescuing Team 10, who themselves were no help.
3. Kakashi claimed that he would have still won against Kakuzu even if Naruto hadn't arrived.

Conclusion:
In 1 vs 1 fight, Kakuzu would be destroyed. :|

Using a technique like Kamui would automatically mean that Kakashi is being pushed. The earlier he uses it, the more we know that Kakashi cannot afford to waste any time gambling against his opponent. Kakashi at that time would not destroy Kakuzu as easily as some people are saying..

Kakashi would have stomped 1 on 1.

While it's true that he had the disadvantage on a few occasions, remember that he the first heart killed was due to the element of surprise factor created by Team 10.

It was Kakashi's feat that Kakuzu was not able to notice his presence, not Team 10's. Team 10 only temporarily made Hidan immobile, but they had nothing to do with destroying Kakuzu's earth heart.

Look at the page I provided. There is a flashback of Kakashi shown while he's talking of using MS, indicating in which moment he thought about it - and it was the moment when Kakuzu merged all the masks together and became one being again. In other words, Kamui against Kakuzu would have finished the job.

Note also that Kakashi said that if he had used Kamui "he would be in the hospital now", he didn't say that Kakuzu would have finished him, he generally implies that he would have defeated Kakuzu at the cost of being in the hospital after it.

All in all, Kakashi would have still won even though he was handicapped. In a fair, 1 on 1 fight, Kakuzu would be destroyed.
