Kakashi either dies or stalls!

Kakashi won't die in the manga. Kishi already made Naruto "grow up" with J Man's death, killing Kakashi would provide nothing to the story, and kill a major part of the story.

There is still alot about Kakashi that has'nt been revealed, so don't expect him to die anytime soon. Someone will die in this attack though, but it will be a lesser character, like Lee, one of the parents, or Tsunade, or one of the old long time ninja's that play little part in the story.

You cannot say that Lee is a lesser character..in fact he really is a strong character..Lee has also learned how to open the first five of the Eight Gates , a feat that is difficult for even the most talented ninja. even kakashi was impressed to rock lee..but i agree that someone will die in this attack..im presuming that this will be the agenda

Pein is the culmination of all six of his bodies, hence the ''Six Paths of Pein''.
The actual body he's facing is Yahiko.

Yea, it would be sad, Kakashi is probably my favorite character [Next to Itachi and Jiraiya, but there dead] in the manga.
It would probably be a lot more sad than when Jiraiya died, for me atleast.

I was hoping that Gai would come to the rescue, but Gai may end up fighting Human Realm. I can see one of the parents dying to save their kid, but yeah, I think Kakashi may be in trouble. His Sharingan may let him see something that gives more information on Pein. So maybe he'll go like Jiraiya and have important clues as he passes away. I wonder what Danzou and 'Root' are doing right now? If there's a time for them to betray Konoha and get away with it then it's now.........

Yea that's what I was thinking, Konoha is very vulnerable and if Danzo wanted to take out Tsunade and pass it off as a casualty of war, he could.
Things are gonna get really shaken up after this, all I can say is I'm almost sure we won't have the same Hokage after this is all over.

I would have rather Iruka died than Kakashi, but personally I do not want any of Naruto's senseis to die. He has already lost Jiraiya, he doesn't need to loose Iruka or Kakashi.

hmm well, there is NO way kakashi will kill pein so yes either stall or get killed. well, kishi isn't going to kill kakashi EVER in the manga in my opinion. he's too big of a main character. he'll probably give pein somewhat, sort of, ok fight maybe LOL. but in the end maybe pein will be seconds away from killing kakashi then BAM naruto saves him.

Kakashi is too important and cool for the readers. Jiraiya, Deidara, and Itachi all died. They were cool too, so that may not be sufficient for Kakashi to live. I don't see the story line advancing because of his death though. The story advances if he lives. That is the reason he'll live in addition that he's a badass.

I want Tsunade to live to tell Naruto about his parents because I believe that she is the only one left who knows the most. Yes, Kakashi knows some since Minato was his teacher. However, does he know about Kushina and stuff Jiraiya probably told Tsunade alone. If she dies, she'd better leave some will (if a slug carried it, I would be amused) Naruto.

Okay look at the page where kakashi fires up another raikiri, thats after being stabbed with the blade, jiraiyas fight he was flailing and shouting that he cant control anything and his chakras going mental.

Kakashi doesnt appear to be having ANY side effects at all from the stabbing, hes not having massive chakra problems etc.

Ole kakashi has something up his sleeve.

TBH pein is strongest against taijutsu, weakest against genjutsu (especially ones at itachis level), quite honestly tsunades worst enemy is pein, tsunade is easy prey for pein, and as thus i personally think kakashi is the only one who can deal with pein, along with naruto.

Hopefully tsunade gets her ass kicked, kakashi pwns a few of them and the villagers think "hmmm...kakashi would be a good hokage"

i read the manga looked at the pictures and found out what happened...


pain stabbed kakashi with the black rod then behind kakashi we saw pains eyes then pain dodges kakashis attack and kakashi was like WTF! thats because those eyes behind kakashi were showing that pain was looking through kakashi's eyes and by looking through kakashis eyes he saw were he was going to strike and whatnot then causually moved his head over making it look effortless

if you have no clue what im talking about you will fingure it out when kishi explains it to everyone beter than i ever could
