No kakashi had it harder.
Obito never had the love of a parent. So he wouldn't know what it's like to lose them. Especially if they killed themselves. Most kids.(especially a 5-7 year old kakashi) would blame themselves for that. And kakashi in a way did. To both get out of his fathers shadow and not relive his dad's mistakes he followed rules to the letter. He might not show it but it's clear kakashi is afraid of being ridiculed and looked down upon. Especially since those very acts pushed his father to suicide. Kakashi didn't really close this wound until he met his father in the afterlife.
Kakashi only gained acknowledgement through his father everyone already had high hopes for the son of sakumo, and it got to the point where he'd be mistaken for his father even in situations where it wouldn't make sense. But as I've already said since sakumo failed the mission ppl changed their outlook on the boy.
Despite rin having romantic feelings for kakashi she never ignored obito because of it, and when the three were together she didn't show favoritism. So that's moot.
Then you have kakashi gaining the sharingan, a constant reminder of the friends he failed to protect and the promises he failed to keep. Then(at least according to the anime) he tried to drown out and suppress his sorrow in the anbu. Becoming a merciless killer. Then he has to become a team captain and watch his own team practically relive his failures. Naruto almost dying every now and again sasuke trying to kill sakura in a manner not so unlike his own. Etc etc.
Then comes his personality shifts. Despite kakashi being an introvert we actively see how the ppl around him mold his personality.
Kakashi's father: Despite being rather sarcastic kakashi was a well balanced kid during the time his father was alive. But after his father died(for not following the rules) he began to do everything by the book. No ifs ands or butts. If he did this he wouldn't fall into disgrace like his father did.
Obito's "death": after obito died he let rules take a backseat to teamwork(something minato forced on him) and also adopted his habit of being late all the time.(spending all of his time in front of the shrine to obito's(and all other kia's) death. Then coming up with the same half assed excuses.
And he went through all of this only to find out obito is still alive and is the reason behind almost everything bad in naruto be it directly or indirectly.
I'd even say he reads porn to keep the ladies at a distance from him after what happened to rin. Lol
But seriously everyone he cared for died. His father, then obito, then rin, then minato and kushina, guy was about to join that list to. And even naruto was on it for a while.
