Note: : I am not making fun of certain characters that leads to a pointless thread filled with insults. I perfectly understand the rules and regulations.
A lot of people think Kakashi had a harder life than Obito and that it makes much more sense if Kakashi turned evil and not Obito
Well, I am going to prove this wrong
Obito had a much harder life to live than Kakashi
First lets look at all the pain both characters suffered and lets compare because thats what u guys do, u compare different type of pains
The Parents' Argument
Next is the Acknowledgement Argument
Let's move on to Obito's "death"
PS: This is just Part One, I will be making a Part Two on more issues such as Rin's death, Minato's death, etc

The Parents' Argument
Kakashi's Parents
Kakashi's mom died soon after Kakashi was born so Kakashi didnt know his mom so he lived with his dad up until his dad's suicide
Kakashi is the son of a legend and well-respected individual
Obito's Parents
Obito didnt know his parents and he grew up without their love
In addition, he was born in an elite clan, but Obito was neither skilled nor talented unlike Kakashi
Even though Kakashi felt the pain of losing his father, he didnt respect him after his death
Hell, Obito who didnt even know Kakashi's father, thought he was a hero
So u can't really bring up the parents argument cause then ur comparing loneliness to being ashamed of someone

Next is the Acknowledgement Argument
Unlike Kakashi, Obito was weak and talent-less. Kakashi was acknowledged as being an elite person by a lot of people
Rin was the first person who acknolwedged Obito and as a result, he grew a certain affection for her, which translated into love
However, Rin also acknowledged Kakashi, which translated into love and Obito knew that
As a result, he developed insecurities because the person he loved and wanted affection from loved someone else
And even as he worked hard and wanted to be recognized for his achievement, he was overshadowed by Kakashi's success
Everyone cared more about Kakashi's success than Obito's achievement
Kakashi never had the burden of getting acknowledged by people. He was already surrounded by people who wanted to help him
In Obito's case, only Rin cared enough about his dream (later on Minato but thats a different discussion) and even then, her eyes were only on Kakashi

A lot of people think that this where it makes sense for Kakashi to turn to the dark side because his best friend sacrificed himself to save him
The pain of losing your best friend and watching him die is truly horrifying and people should feel bad for Kakashi
Yet, u also have to realize how Obito felt at that time
Obito had a choice, he could either save himself or save Kakashi
Obito choose the latter because hes the type of guy who would sacrifice himself for the sake of his comrades
Just read his "final words"
Imagine how he feels knowing that he can never chase his dream again, can never form a real friendship with Kakashi, can never win Rin's heart
A lot of people fail to realize what Obito went through at this time and only focuses on Kakashi's perspective and feelings
