only difficult ones besides nagato and itachi will be sasori because of his vast collection of poison + puppets and also kisame because of samehada kakashi is a good opponent because he can kamui his strongest attack which is the growing shark justu xd

People who he will give a fight, but will lose to; Kisame, sasori

I think that's a fair enough evaluation.

Kakuzu would provide the most entertaining matchup, IMO. Someone who can match Kakashi in intelligence and jutsu. Kakashi back then wouldn't have the stamina to compete, but the current Kakashi would. And without having to worry about a useless team(well, Choji and Ino were at least). I think Kakuzu would outlast him, but it's a 50/50 type thing and would be entertaining to see.

Kakashi have to look Itachi to use kamui,so he can be trapped under genjutsu.Itachi can cast genjutsu from his finger .
Furthermore he got sharingan,he can predict Kakashi's eye attack like when Tobi saw throught Kakashi when he was going to use kamui to warp him.

noop..tobi knew about kakashi's Kamui...in the other hand itachi doesnt.. well it comes down to who use there deadly attk first..

His only way to win is kamui ,he said it himself after the fight.

I know that he improved a lot with his speed and chakra but that's doesn't change the fact that without kamui he will have to handle all masks and Kakuzu himself .

It will be 5 vs 1 ,almost impossible without kamui.
unless if he can fight them separatly , or in a place where there are obstacles (like where jiraiya fought pein) for hiding to take them one by one .

I'm agree but he also used it in offensive like the first he used it.
he's also capable to use it immediatly when the fight begin like when he was going to do it on Tobi.

We can't negligeate the best jutsu of Kakashi.

No, you can't negate it, but you also can't do a complete 180 of what the character actually does.

The first time he used it was in an attempt to save Gaara. And he wanted to take out Tobi right then and there for obvious reasons, plus he had Naruto and Sakura with him, and Sasuke was already beat.

If kamui were for whatever reason to fail against Kakuzu he's done for, because it takes a toll on his body. He can't take that risk.

Yes he wanted to save Gaara,for this , he wanted kill Deidara with his kamui.
Kamui can be used as offensive jutsu,as you said it's riskly , Kakashi said it.

A kamui cost 1/4 of his chakra against pain and he's stun for some seconds after using it.The positive points is that all his target are hit each time he used it.

lol kamui wont fail againt someone like kakuzu.. want prove..go watch when sasuke use the susanoo arrow and look how fast kakashi was.. not to mention.. current kakashi is really powerfull

fighting 7 ninja swords men not to mention edo as well
and after tht saving naruto
and fighting the tail beasts
and still had enough chakra to use kumai the tail beasts when they were about to use TBB.

tbh i like kakashi .. his a good ninja ofc not the best.. but if he was like sasuke.. and he goes in battle and spam kamui.. he could take out lots of strong people stright away..whts so good about him is tht...he only uses it when he really needs iit..

as i said if you give here years of prep she can beat 99% of naruto verse but then again if you had all the intel she did and years to get ready i bet any kaga level could do what she did if not more
