Whatever you guys say I do feel this tension is unjustifiable. Kakashi is one of those perfect pen pals for Itachi, Kakuzu, and Oro, in the sense his wealth in battle experience is incredibly vast. It did hurt some feelings seeing Obito slip, but we have to understand too, he had been carried to tell the plot all along the time in narutoverse.
He ain´t like Danzou, working in the shadows (very actively), Kishi did mark, Obito gained incredible upgrades through incredible loss, however it didn´t compensate on him being a weakling Uchiha. I mean, we could enlist achievements all the way from the academy from all of the memeorable Uchihas presented and continouisly quoted in the manga, but Obito isn´t much of a dazzling star. He lost his life at a tender age by some low life shinobi, so I think that should mark some sort of precedent, in the way he´s viewed.
Obito: one hell of an evil character. A cool, gloomy guy whom defeated uhm, Konan.
Kakashi: barefoot "mr. experience"...
