kakashi and yamato would win. kakashi could probably beat deidara on his own so yamato pretty much just seals the deal. there is no way deidara can fight with two elite shinobi who are masters of ninjutsu and come out winning.

yes and that's pretty much all it does. i think deideira would win, since both dont have strong enough long distance attacks nor shields to stop him before he throws something like c4

kakashi has kamui which has proven to work against deidara. not to mention that was when kakashi first got it now he is more skilled with it so he could take out deidara's birds. also yamato's wood release can be used for long range. all he has to do is make it go up a good distance in the sky and then him and kakashi can run on it and then yamato can make more so they can run higher. also yamato has powerful water and earth style so dont underestimate him. they both have long range jutsu: kakashi with kamui and yamato with wood release.

When was this? I remember him taking his arm once but never using Kamui on him a second time. And no I think the entire manga and everyone else is overrating mokuton. As of right now it hasn't been shown to control tailed-beasts, it just suppresses their chakra. That is what mokuton does whether it is for people, eg: when Yamato had Kisame in a wood hanging block and thought he had suppressed his chakra so he couldn't escape, or when he had Madara locked down in that wood thing but Madara just teleported away and Yamato was like "what?", or the many times he suppresses the nine-tails chakra.

Until we have actually been shown a tailed beast being controlled by mokuton and not just being stopped then I refuse to believe that Hashirama could control the tailed beasts since it makes no sense, there is no proof, and most likely it is just the manga characters speaking in hyperbole like they always do.
