Kakashi and his Sharigan

I was wondering why does Kakashi close his normal when using Sharigan?
Is it so that he does not get effected by Genjutsu easily?

B/c when he closes his normal eye his range of sight should decrease which would make it hard to fight in battle, People could attack him from his blind side.

Why do you guys think Kakashi closes his normal eye

1. its better against genjutsu since sharingan is good at detecting them unlike normal....

because he is sniping with his other eye

Because he would be seeing and doing 2 diffrent things:

Sharingan: People's Chakra, and better insight, predicting enemy movements.
Regular eye: Everythings normal,

So his regular eye would be basically getting in his way basically messing him up i guess.

He has to focus on "one" eye since both of them see diffrent things.

Thats what I thought but still his view of the battle field is like cut in half

He needs to focus with the sharingan just like Danzo. Even Sasuke closed his left eye when he placed genjutsu on C.
