Kakashi and genjutsu.

I don't understand. I thought kakashi was a genius of his time. Y isn't he able to cast strong genjutsu?? I mean I'm not expecting anything half as strong as itachi's tsyuch, but at least something. After all he did unlock the mangeyq. And he has achieved one occular power from it. Wat do u think?

itachi's left MS had tsukuyomi while his right MS had amaterasu.
one of them had ninjutsu other genjutsu.
same with sasuke (though it's the opposite)
kakashi has one MS and he can use kamui (ninjutsu) with that so he probably doesn't have any genjutsu in his MS.

about normal sharingan he does have. he was able to alter zabuza's mind (up to a point, not as strong as Koto Amatsukami)

however that technique uses too much chakra so kakashi doesn't use it often.

well he' isn't as skilled as itachi on genjutsu but he was enough good to put zabuza into genjutsu and enough to cast 2 anbu racine in a genjutsu .

Kakashi is able to cast strong Genjutsu. He's rated 4/5 in it. His fighting style simply doesn't revolve around using usually.
