[Theory] Kaido VS Akainu happened?

The scar Kaido has is the same as that of Luffy, wouldn't be strange if Akainu was able to hurt him.

And keeping in our minds that Kaido wanted to die maybe he faced the marines.

Not likely, if they clashed, Akainu would have some huge battle scar, worst case scenario, Akainu would be dead.
Then, Oda would have probably made some fodder mention it, like someone mentioned Moriah clashing with Kaido.

I noticed that too, Akainu could have just been one of the methods the Marines used to try and execute him one of the times he was caught or it may not be from Akainu at all.

If akainu ever grew balls to fight kaidou, he would put right get smashed. Kaidou is in his prime right now.

All people starting from vice admiral have haki and like Venomous Cobra mentioned he negged their haki

You Akainu coming with a buster call? It's not like he didn't come there with more than 10 vice admirals with him. I wouldn't call that having balls at all especially when akainu's tactic is to hit yonkous in the chest and run away for 5 vice admirals to finish him off.

Akainu wouldn't be dead tf. If he can tank whitebeard he can tank anything from kaido

Actually akainus haki is one of the greatest ever seen, he undoubtedly has the greatest haki resistance (which he has to use haki to do) in the whole Manga as whitebeard has the strongest attacks ever shown and akainu tanked two of them which no one else has ever been shown to do

He didn't come with more the 10 vice admirals. Matter of fact akainu was the only marine higher than vice admiral shown.
