Kaguya: Had the byakugan and the sharingan/rinnegan powers mixed into her third eye.
Juubi/shinju: Practically contains 'life' (it was described as being nature/earth itself?), had the same 3rd eye Kaguya had and had mokutun powers.
Hagoromo: Had the rinnegan which was a DNA mutation. Passed on sharingan from Kaguya onto Indra and passed on Mokutun from shinju onto Ashura's descendants.
Hamura: Most likely had the rinnegan which he would have used to defeat the shinju/juubi. Logically speaking, he may have passed on the byakugan from Kaguya onto one of his sons who's descendants later became the Hyuuga clan, and may have passed on the juubi/shinju's, or Kaguya's, or even his own strong life force and sealing techniques used to seal the juubi onto his other son, who's descendants later became the Uzumaki clan. It would make more sense if this came from Hamura himself as strong life force is present in all Uzumaki's and isn't as rare as Mokutun, which was the shinju's power.
So Hagoromo's son had the Sharingan DNA from Kaguya, and Hamura's son had the Byakugan DNA from Kaguya.
Hagoromo's other son's descendants later received the mokutun aspect of the juubi's power, which was ultra rare which is only why Hashirama had it, and Hamura's other son received the massive amount of life force from Hamura, Kaguya or the juubi (if he had gained even a little bit of the juubi).
Does this sound logical?
