Kaguya: Had the byakugan and the sharingan/rinnegan powers mixed into her third eye.

Juubi/shinju: Practically contains 'life' (it was described as being nature/earth itself?), had the same 3rd eye Kaguya had and had mokutun powers.

Hagoromo: Had the rinnegan which was a DNA mutation. Passed on sharingan from Kaguya onto Indra and passed on Mokutun from shinju onto Ashura's descendants.

Hamura: Most likely had the rinnegan which he would have used to defeat the shinju/juubi. Logically speaking, he may have passed on the byakugan from Kaguya onto one of his sons who's descendants later became the Hyuuga clan, and may have passed on the juubi/shinju's, or Kaguya's, or even his own strong life force and sealing techniques used to seal the juubi onto his other son, who's descendants later became the Uzumaki clan. It would make more sense if this came from Hamura himself as strong life force is present in all Uzumaki's and isn't as rare as Mokutun, which was the shinju's power.

So Hagoromo's son had the Sharingan DNA from Kaguya, and Hamura's son had the Byakugan DNA from Kaguya.

Hagoromo's other son's descendants later received the mokutun aspect of the juubi's power, which was ultra rare which is only why Hashirama had it, and Hamura's other son received the massive amount of life force from Hamura, Kaguya or the juubi (if he had gained even a little bit of the juubi).

Does this sound logical?

In my opinion, it goes down like this:

Kaguya, as a moon goddess, possessed the Byakugan before she ate the fruit. The Byakugan is the natural eye of whatever species she is [as I don't think she is human] In fact, this may be why the Byakugan resembles the moon to begin with.

When she ate the fruit, she gained her third eye, the sharingan.

She gave birth to twins, both who possessed the same eyes as her, the Byakugan. It's been shown that the Byakugan is passed down unto every child in the hyuga clan, so it's probably a dominant trait.

Kaguya developed the jyuuken fighting style and taught it to the two sons.

The two sages used this fighting style, as well as sealing jutsus they'd developed, to fight the juubi.

Once the juubi was sealed inside hagoromo, his Byakugan mutated due to the juubi into the rennigan. this is why the rennigan looks like a mix of Byakugan + Sharingan. Hagoromo then passed this new eye onto the Uchiha and his new body onto the senju.

But since the 2nd sage didn't become a juubi host, his Byakugan and body remained untainted, Byakugan was passed onto the hyuga while his body was passed onto the uzumaki.

Wait so technically that would make NaruHina cousins or siblings?

Well, if anything, I'm 98% convinced the Byakugan is Kaguya's natural eyes, and not something she got from the fruit

THIS IS THE 1ST PREDICTION I LIKE ON THIS FORUM except with uzumakis being descendants from haruma. they are simple ppl, not from any god or whatever... it would make both naruto and naruhina couple when they will be together look more cool. a byakugan not so cocky even if she is descendant from the goddess herself and a hardworking stupid noob who achieved many by working his ass. srry, i can`t write properly, i`m on coke. uh, oh, i meant coke, Coca Cola.. actually Pepsi. it has same effects as if i`d sniff something...

I think Hamura has something to do with Juugo's and maybe Kimmimaro's powers :coffee:

Maybe - One son sealed the Juubi
the other Seal Kaguya
When they died they moved those powers/individuals other places

one split the Juubi into the tailed beats
the other put Kaguya into the Gedo or something.

Being one of the few that can hold a Tailed beast promotes them beyond simple.
