Luffy is renowned for wearing his trademark Straw Hat (from which he gets his nickname "Straw Hat Luffy"), he wears short, blue trousers at all time and sandals, he has black hair, and a scar under left eye which he inflicted to himself when he was younger, just to show how tough he was. He is somewhat tall (172 cm) and also a bit scrawny, but underneath his red shirt he has a surprisingly good physique with protruding abdomen muscles. After the ninja war, he received a large X-shaped scar on his chest. During battles, he wears Flak Jacket to have easy access to scrolls and projectiles. Other times, he just uses a sleeveless red shirt, which he leaves unbottoned. Luffy wields his Honehada on his back at all times(Samehada made out of bones) and has the Varangian Guard Bracers equipped on his wrists. He has modified his Varangian Guard Bracers, so that they have a Generic Sealing Technique seal on them, where Luffy has sealed many different scrolls and weapons for easier access during battles.
Personality
He doesn't appear to be very intelligent, and his lack of intelligence is the source of his brave attitude towards life. Luffy is easily amazed by simplest things. When he has to think hard to come up with a plan, he strains himself too hard and starts feeling sick. When Luffy sees something new, or a kind of people he never seen before, he asks them the stupidest things like if the can poop. And if he sees things he doesn't understand, he just gives them nicknames with the word "Mystery" infront of it, like "Mystery powder". Because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he occasionally is the only person who can see past events that have taken place and realize the true goal, yet at other times he can fall into the simplest of traps. He is, however, a genius when it comes to fighting, even when he is at total disadvantage, he will come up with a strategy to defeat the opponent. Luffy's simple attitude and naive comments during fights are often mistaken by his oppenent as poking fun at them. In battle, Luffy has shown signs of intelligence, high tactical and innovative skills. As a person with the middle initial D, Luffy shares the common trait of not fearing of death and being totally fearless. He will often state that if he reaches his goal, that's fine, but if he dies on the way, that's fine too. Luffy seems to have an unstoppable appetite which is another common "D" trait, as well as a strong belief in dreams. Like other D's so far, he also is a glutton, despite his skinny appearance: he especially loves meat and can eat a fish whole - bones included. Another dominant trait of Luffy is his humble nature: he doesn't brag about the powerful foes he's defeated in the past. And when he is fighting, he always fights seriously and never holds back. He will give it all he has, but after Luffy has defeated the opponent, he doesn't finish him/her off, which differs him from other Kaguya clan members. From times to times, if Luffy gets angered, he gets a very strong killint intent. Being from the Kaguya clan, a clan of barbarian, only adds to his bloodlust. Luffy also cares a great deal about his friends and comrades, and will go great lengths to protect them and what they stand for.

Luffy's abilities comes from his Kekkei Genkai, Shikotsumyaku, which allows the user to manipulate their own skeletal structure as a means of combat. Specifically, it allows Luffy to combine his chakra with calcium, making his bones flexible. Through hard training with Kaito, Alucard and several other great Shinobis, Luffy learned how to control calcium, creating his own element; Calcium release, and using this he can infuse his bones with a large amount of calcium and more chakra, by doing this, Luffy has attained diamond-hard bones. Luffy uses this ability to wield his bones as weapons in battle, and can use them in the forms of taijutsu attack to give him a variety of abilities. And Luffy is very versatile when it comes to using his Kekkei Genkai in battle. Because of the usage of his kekkei genkai, Luffy has acquired great resistance to pain, because of ripping bones through his flesh countless of times. And because of increased number of bones in the body, which play a large part in producing important things for the body, such as blood cells, Kaguyas will last longer while bleeding unlike normal humans who bleed to death quite fast.

Despite his appearance, Luffy is extremely strong, he was been training ever since he was small, his strength can be compared to 4th Raikages physical strength(cause he has undergone tough taijutsu training, he was worked to the bone and his kekkei genkai helped greatly too, because of his strong bones), his speed is very incredible as well, which he has also achieved through tough taijutsu training, which allows him to move very fast in close combat and keep up with even the fastest of ninjas. Cursed Seal of the Earth
Luffy has the Cursed Seal of the Earth directly in the middle of his chest, inside the cross-shaped scar.
Stage 1 Transformation
The seal direction on his chest spreads all over his body, creating rectangular shaped lines all over his body. Luffy's fighting prowess is increased, with higher strength, speed and durability.

Stage 2 Transformation
The rectangular shaped lines from Stage 1 grow until the cover Luffy's whole body, bones burst out of Luffy's body and wrap around him, while doing so, whole body of Luffy darkens, and so do the bones. The tip of the bones glow red, being heated up by fire chakra and the bones serve both as offensive power and defensive power. Luffy also grows two horns on his head, giving him a very demonic look overall. Luffy's strength, speed and durability are increased even further and he can choose to grow wings made out of bone, similar to the armor that is created by bone if he wishes to. The armor is very flexible, yet they can cut through almost anything because of them being heated up and Luffy can control the bones on the armor freely. Furthermore Luffy's personality changes, and becomes really sinister. He becomes brutal and barbaric, his clans true nature re-emerge, creating a fitting personality to his demonic transformation.

Background Info.
History:
Before the villages were founded, the Kaguya clan and their kekkei genkai was one of the strongest out there. Because of the barbaric members of the clan, during and after the war, there were complications, the strongest members of the clan fighting each other for the position as head of the clan. There was a disagreement about the leadership of the clan since the beginning of time. After the villages were founded, many members of the Kaguya clan split up. The majority moved close to Kirigakure, while others split up and moved to different locations, like close to smaller villages. Because the Kaguya clan split up so much, there were often families that would mate with people outside of the Kaguya clan, and thus over time, the bloodline thinned out and so did the amount of people with the Kekkei Genkai. Over time, there were only one in every hundred descendants of the original Kaguya Clan that got the Kekkei Genkai. Luffys parent tried to meet up with the rest of the clan, after having lived 3 generations away from the main members of the clan, who lived close to Kirigakure. Born into once a great clan, the Kaguya, Luffy was gifted with the powerful Kekkei Genkai called: Shikotsumyaku. The Kaguya blood running in his veins was especially strong, even though Luffy was 4th generation after the clan split up, so there were a lot of the non-Kaguyas in his family, and the Kaguya blood just got thinner and thinner for each generation that went by. Luffy never met his father or mother, so he was taken care of by the rest of the clan. He did not find out about his kekkei genkai until he was 12 years old.
When Kaguya attacked Kirikagure, Luffy was supposed to be a part of the battle,
but when Kaguya clan was moving towards Kirigakure, Luffy got separated from the rest of the clan, because he got distracted by strange animal, and started following it, and he got lost in the woods while chasing the strange animal(which was really just a squirrel)Luffy tried to find his way to Kirigakure, because he really wanted to join the fight, because he loves fighting. But he couldn't find his way to the village, because of the route to the village being too confusing. A couple of days later, he was found lying in the woods, starving, 50 meter from the Kirigakure village. Not knowing who he was, the village took him in, and he was adopted by a family. He didn't tell them that he was a part of kaguya clan, because nobody asked him anything like that, so he didn't bother telling them. During his time in Kirigakure, he found out that his elemental affinity was Earth, and start training earth and became a better earth element user each day. At the ninja academy, at early age Luffy would beat up students that were much older than him easily.
Luffy trained with the top swordsmen of the mist, without revealing his KG, so he can use his kekkei genkai to a great extent because of his swordsmanship. During his training, he became good friends with the great swordsman Roronoa Zoro. Luffy later started traveling trying to find a place where he could find opponents or comrades. During his travel, he was visited one of the small countries, Ame. He there settled down for a while, to see if there was anything for him at the village. He challenged the strongest in Amegakure, and easily beat them with his unique KG. He soon became acknowledged by the Rain village, so he decided to stay, ever since, he has been living in Amegakure and training himself every day, without having to worry about using his kekkei genkai.
After setting out on a journey, Luffy was able to meet up with some of the Kaguya members that were still alive. Luffy met the two senior Kaguya members, Goro and Heihachi, who taught him techniques for his KG. Luffy continued his journey, and met a lot of interesting and strong shinobi like Dark Sage and Hasashi who pushed his taijutsu skills even further, by teaching him the eight inner gates. Years later Luffy became one of the Eight Inner Gates Masters. He has also met a lot of strong and fierce opponents, and fought with them and gained a lot of battle experience, but also a new set of eyes, the sharingan. The sharingans helped him master the 4 other elements, and he continued training the elements which different senseis on his journeys.
During one of his journeys, he met up with a group called "Fallen Angels", whose goal was to assassinate and collect bounties of horrible RPers. They wanted to eliminate all the retards of the Shinobi world.
Months later he joined the akatsuki, and started hunting the bijuu and fighting a set of very powerful shinobi, the Jinchuriki. He has also met up with Roronoa Zoro(Caliburn) who he had not seen in years. Caliburn had started his own group of swordsman and started to share his great swordsman skills with others. He called the group; Varangian Guard, and in order to train his kenjutsu skills, Luffy joined this group. After staying with the Varangian Guard for a while, Luffy continued his journeys where he met up with the leader of Akatsuki, Nero and Luffy requested Nero to teach him the arts of Sealing. Nero and Luffy trained for 2 months and during that time, Luffy mastered the arts of sealing and was ready to continue his journey, or adventure as he would call it.
After becoming famous in the Ninja world Luffy continued his travels towards Kumogakure, where his strength got acknowledged to a point where he became the next raikage of the village. This is where he trained his lightning element to a further level. Having become the leader of Kumogakure, he got really close to the villagers and wanted to protect them like they were his own family, he got really close to some of the top ranking members of Kumogakure, like Roku, Hellsbadass, Gatsndshanks and Kirabi, he also tried to train some of the newer shinobi of Kumogakure, by teaching them the jutsus that he had developed himself for the village.
Soon a war had started in the ninja world, where Kumogakure and Kirigakure teamed up against the alliance of Iwagakure, Sunagakure and Konohagakure. After many fights, and a lot of spilled blood, Kumogakure and Kirigakure were declared the winners of the war. During the war, Luffy fought many great Shinobi, receiving many wounds, and a large X-shaped scar on the chest and was forced to remove his sharingans because of having fought in hard battle for days, Luffy had little time to replenish his chakra and the sharingans just kept draining his chakra, so Luffy knew if he didn't remove his implants, he would die from chakra exhaustion. So at the Kumogakure hospital he scratched his own eyes out, and had Nexus, the travelling Med shinobi regrow his old original eyes while Nexus was passing by Kumogakure.

Many Kumogakure shinobi lost their lives and Luffy felt responsible, so after the war he left for an abandoned island to train with several other shinobi.
On the abandoned island, Luffy kept training harder than anyone, swiftly mastering new techniques and improving his older techniques. Luffy would train all day, and when the night fell, he would kill and eat several of the islands wild animals and sleep for a few hours. He woke up right before the sunrise every morning and continued his physical training as well as Ninjutsu training and started developing his own elements and techniques. After being absent for almost two years, Luffy has returned, stronger than ever. Having mastered Sound and Radio frequency and developed Calcium release and Temperature release, the latter with help of another shinobi. He had mastered several techniques, and he developed many new techniques, most of them for his Kekkei Genkai, but several Lightning techniques and earth techniques as well. Luffy heard about a new group of missing nin shinobi, the Missing Swordsmen, lead by a great shinobi that had been holding a low profile, Izuna Uchiha. During times of peace, Luffy had made new friend and rivals, like Kawagiri, the Kazekage, Emperor, the daimyo of Kirigakure, Ragnaroc, the daimyo of Sunagakure, who were with him on the abandoned island and trained sound together with him and met up with some older friends and masters, like Nero, who taught him Fuuinjutsu in the past, and trained him in Sound and Radio frequency during his stay on the abandoned island. After two years on the island, Luffy stepped back into the ninja word for the first time.
After Luffys return, nothing much happened in the ninja world, it was a time of peace. Luffy continued to party and go on adventures with his friends and comrades. From time to time, Luffy would spar some strong opponents, to keep his skills in shape and test out his strength as well as become stronger. Luffy has started to host tournament, with the first prize being: Training with the great shinobi, Luffy.
Luffy was reunited with his taijutsu sensei, Kaito-sama, now going under the name Zenryoku. Zenryoku started training Luffy for old times sake, giving him a new animal contract; Hawks and teaching him the Majestic Hawk Mode as well as some new taijutsu moves. In exchange Luffy taught him some of his own moves as well. During this training, Luffy had an afro, because afros are cool and powerful. Afros are not to be underestimated under any circumstances. Whenever Luffy is serious and faces a very strong opponent, Luffy will use an afro. Not many know of the power of the Afro, therefore not many are as strong or stronger than Luffy. He has continued his training even after the return and mastered Sound techniques and developed his own. And meeting up with the travelling medical shinobi Nexus again, who this time around agreed to teach him medical ninjutsu so that Luffy was able to protect his comrades. After a while, Luffy had mastered medical ninjutsu and gained a lot of knowledge about the human body and gotten even better and more precise chakra control, which gave him the position as the Head of the Hospital. He started to train his Sound techniques to a new level, making the regular techniques more advanced. Luffy created his own, more advanced form of the Inner Sonar Skill, by focusing chakra into his ears to increase his hearing by a lot, Luffy was able to hear the smallest things, like the heartbeat of a person over 200 meters away, and he perfected the technique by training with the technique active and learning to block out loud noises and unnecessary details of the environment and really focused on what was important. For several months Luffy kept training with a blind fold and only having the Advanced Inner Sonar Skill activated, he taught himself to "see" with his hearing, by picking up the smallest of details through sound and picturing the enviroment around him.
Luffy set out on a Sage Mission at age 19, and went through many fierce trials, for both his knowledge and battle skills. During the time when Luffy was taking his Sage Mission, the Akatsuki were wrecking havoc in the ninja world, successfully destroying Konohagakure and almost succeeding at destroying Sunagakure. The last part of the Sage Mission was to defeat the criminal organization Akatsuki, so Luffy and his teammate for the mission set out to do this task. During his mission Luffy fought a man named Zanji Uchiha, a very powerful individual who had been laying low for a while. After a fierce battle between the two, Luffy was succesful at defeating Zanji, but Zanji was too great of a man to get himself captured, so he tried to commit suicide, but Luffy was succesful at stopping the attempt and managed to capture Zanji alive. Luffy continued his mission by taking on the then-leader of the Akatsuki, The Pervy Sage, whom he defeated and captured as well, having done his part in the mission, Luffy laid back and relaxed while the others were still fighting. While blood was being spilled around him, Luffy with his great appetite had a great meal to recover his energy in case he needed it. After successfully defeating several of the members of the Akatsuki, the mission was handed in to Rei and Luffy and some of his teammates completed the Sage Mission. After several months out on his mission, Luffy became an official sage of NB, with the title "Sage of Diamond Bones", a title named after his abilities and diamond-hard bones.
Some time after his Sage Mission, Luffy found Izuna Uchiha, who had left Akatsuki and somehow become the next Hokage. Both of them became great friends, and Izuna taught Luffy some more Kenjutsu, becoming an even better swordsman. Luffy hangs out daily with the Top Shinobi of the world, having parties, BBQs and feasts daily(won't bother listing everyone).
Luffy is planning on starting to train younger shinobi how to battle, and train them battle tactics. By doing this Luffy will continue to grow stronger himself and influence the Shinobi world every day.

Willpower-
Luffy has a really strong willpower, meaning that in a fight, small injuries are not enough to stop him. His will to live is really great, and it has helped him many times in fights. Luffy is also fearless as mentioned before.
Through really hard and tough training with Kaito, Luffy has attained a very strong psychical endurance and durability, being able to perform hard taijutsu attacks with ease. And having used eight inner gates many times in battle and training, he has gotten some resistance to the strain they put on his body and gained greater natural reactions from using Eight Inner Gates a lot. Luffy has also become an EIG master because of his complete mastery of the gates.
Being born and raised in the hidden mist village, Luffy has more visibility in mist also having been trained by Alucard, the Kaguya version of Zabuza. His mastery of Sound helps him navigate even better through mist.
Like everyone else with the initial D. Luffy is a glutton, even though he is a glutton, he still remains very slim, that is because he convert all the food he eats to nothing more than just energy, which allows him to eat and recover quickly outside of battles. Luffy also has the mysterious and uncanny ability to, while completely asleep, eat as if he is awake, even able to know when more food has been placed on the table. This is probably purely based on muscle memory since all Luffy does best is fighting and eating.

Being a member of Varangian Guard and Caliburns apprentice in Kenjutsu, Luffy has access to the Varangian Guard Arsenal, having the bracers equipped at all times. Luffy has modified his bracers by carving the needed seal for the Generic Sealing Technique where he has sealed many scrolls and weapons for easier access.
Honehada is Luffy's own custom sword that he has made out of his own bones, and he has the sword with him at all times.

Description: This sword is made by one of the greatest Kaguyas, using his own bones, he created this weapon. By extracting bones from his own body, he turned a regular bone, into a giant sword that is consisting of a thousand bones. By making many bones grow out of the one bone/the base/hilt/core, he made a broadsword, which has one thousand spikes, which gives this sword the ability to shave the opponent, and not to cut. It is said, that the creator, got the idea from his fight with Kisame of the Seven Swordsmen of the mist, by looking at Kisames sword, he was able to create a replica, using his own bones, but of course, it was not as powerful as Samehada, but the Kaguya was able to adapt to it, and use it with his own combat style. This sword has no special powers such as eating the opponents chakra, or feeling it, the sword isn't even alive. The user is able to send chakra into the sword, to shoot some of the spiky bones(5-10) at the opponent, the spiky bones have the strength and speed of a regular kunai. If wielded by a Kaguya, the user can regenerate new bones onto the sword. This is one of the best weapons for Kaguya, because they can use the bones on the sword as a base for their techniques, for example use a jutsu that creates a wall of bones, by extending the bones and forming a wall. If not in use, the Kaguya can use his ability to retract the bones/spikes, giving the sword a more compact form.

Description: This sword is made by one of the greatest Kaguyas, using his own bones, he created this weapon. By extracting bones from his own body, he turned a regular bone, into a giant sword that is consisting of a thousand bones. By making many bones grow out of the one bone/the base/hilt/core, he made a broadsword, which has one thousand spikes, which gives this sword the ability to shave the opponent, and not to cut. It is said, that the creator, got the idea from his fight with Kisame of the Seven Swordsmen of the mist, by looking at Kisames sword, he was able to create a replica, using his own bones, but of course, it was not as powerful as Samehada, but the Kaguya was able to adapt to it, and use it with his own combat style. This sword has no special powers such as eating the opponents chakra, or feeling it, the sword isn't even alive. The user is able to send chakra into the sword, to shoot some of the spiky bones(5-10) at the opponent, the spiky bones have the strength and speed of a regular kunai. If wielded by a Kaguya, the user can regenerate new bones onto the sword. This is one of the best weapons for Kaguya, because they can use the bones on the sword as a base for their techniques, for example use a jutsu that creates a wall of bones, by extending the bones and forming a wall. If not in use, the Kaguya can use his ability to retract the bones/spikes, giving the sword a more compact form.
- Shooting spikes and regenerating new ones cost 20 chakra
- The bones are flexible, but yet very solid, meaning that the bones on the sword cannot be broken, or cut.
- Can only be blocked by giant swords, or katanas, because of the flexible bones, a small sword/kunai would work like a pencil against a broom, it would go between the bones, and the opponent would get stabbed by multiple bones.
- If wielded by anyone else but a Kaguya, the user will only be able to shoot spikes, but not regenerate.
- All elemental ninjutsu of the user gain a -5 in damage for the next turn after a technique using this sword is carried out ( for example, Bone Rain )
