There was this anime and manga back in the 90's made by the creator of Detective Conan (aka "Cased Closed") called "Yaiba" the primary antagonist at first was this character called Takeshi but afterwards the primary antagonist became Kaguya-hime who was the Empress of the Moon and the Bunny People:
So basically Empress Kaguya had tried to conquer Earth thousands of years ago by using her Rabbit Army (who arrived on Earth through literally bamboo-styled spaceships) because she was enthralled by the beauty of the planet, compared to her world (The Moon) which was barren and desolate.
She was defeated by a priest of the Dragon God (whom the main character Yaiba, acquired his powers later on) and cut off a vast portion of her power by severing her bunny ears and sealing it in the Dragon Maiden, who was later reincarnated into Yaiba's love interest (Ayame is the name I think).
In the end, Kaguya regained her powers (bunny ears) from the Dragon Maiden and had assimilated her being into the planet itself, she LITERALLY became the planet with the Earth drawn with her outline:
Yaiba fought her and defeated her, but if I remember the anime correctly, she didn't want to cause harm to the Earth so she held back and that's why she was defeated, the last image of hers was her silhouette smiling over the Earth saying that even though she didn't conquer it, she became one with the planet whom she greatly loved and admired and that was enough for her.
Seeing Kaguya Ootsutsuki's panel of not wanting to harm the world and referring to it as her "nursery" could Kishi have taken inspiration from the plot and themes of Yaiba's Empress Kaguya? and perhaps Naruto's Kaguya's ending will be the same? thoughts?
Also, Empress Kaguya uses her hair to attack her enemies:
And she has two generals: a Black Rabbit and a White Rabbit, do her bidding:
