It is probably going to be akatsuki.

1. Zetsu has more chakara then the 9 tails and absorbs chakara
2. they have 2 rinnigan users and one of those can be incorperal
3. one is an (true) immortal
4. Another can poison you just by touching you/ magnetic release
5. Another can have mini explosions happen inside your body
6. another absorbs mass amounts of chakara and turns it against you.
7. with the exception of one it will be a two on one battle

advantages of the kages
1. 1 great at wood release can mess with zetsu in two ways wood release, and messing with demonic chakara another not so great
2. 2 time/ space masters
3. one mass healer
4. 1 FTG master -attacks are direct
5. One is an powerful ignazi user

but even with all of these they would have to work in synch with one another and I don't think akatsuki would let them.

come on dudes, Minato alone could pwn every one of those guys, at least 1 on 1 he could (and no i'm no Minato fanboy, i'm just being honest with my opinion). so with him, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and Naruto!? no competition. Konoha would completely whoop Akatsuki, and yes i've taken into consideration the 2 Rinnegans + Itachi, but with Hashirama, his brother, the Professor, the Yellow Flash, the legendary sucker, and the Orange Hokage, i just don't think the Hokage's could lose.

Akatsuki wins

1= kages are outnumbered.
2= Itachi,Nagato are above kage level .(Rinnegan+sharingan)
3= Tobi is just too extremly powerfull right now.(Rinnegan+Sharingan again)


I can c the kages only winning when: 1=they get 3 sanins added then maybe they have a chance imo.

2= Only Itachi,Nagato and Tobi fights the kages. then i can c kages having a chance.

we don't know that Tobi isn't Madara. i think he is. i think they are both Madara. so in this fight, i'm counting Tobi as Madara. so until he takes his mask off or it is otherwise explicitly shown that Tobi is a completely different person and that there's absolutely no chance that Tobi is Madara's shell/body while Edo Tensei Madara is Madara's spirit, i'll count Tobi as Madara.

Nagato almost got pwnd by Jiraiya who knew nothing about his powers. also he doesn't seem to be able to use the Rinnegan to it's full potential. so i consider him weak considering he has the Rinnegan. also, Tobi/Madara has both eyes at once, so he can't use Susanoo cuz that requires double mangekyou and if he uses izanagi he'll lose an eye. Hashirama already beat Madara and Madara had the Kyuubi fighting with him so Hashirama by himself took out Madara AND the Kyuubi, he can do it again and considering the 9 tails is on his side this time and Naruto can effectively control it's chakra, i don't think there'd be a problem. and yeah, i stand behind saying that Minato could take each of them 1 on 1. not saying he WOULD necessarily but that he COULD, as in he's strong enough to do it. They also have the ultimate healer on their side which i say doubles their chances. I don't think the Kages would lose
