Kabuto's Secret Jutsu?

I haven't seen part 1 for years so I completely forgot about this. This happened during the chunnin exams (in the forest of death). Here is the sequence of events
-Kabuto saves naruto by crash tackling him
- The mist ninja that come out of the ground and knocked kabutos glasses off, and knocked him to the ground
- he than turns to look at the mist ninja which can be seen in the page below
- his eyes than turn all dark and demonic (0_o)
What do you think and what the hell is it? Could this be related to 'that jutsu' and how?

I think he just did a short genjutsu

His eyes turn all demonic and evil. He has never shown that again, but I don't think kabuto has ever been that serious about a fight since ( he always seems to toy with the opponents).

too me it just looked liked he was pissed and about to do something when something happend

obviously he was about to activate his sharingan.. duhh

idk that is interesting to think about though.
maybe he just imtimidated the guy and the manga portrayed it very dramatically.
