Wow I can't believe no one realized the connection between Kabuto's head bleeding and him not remembering anything before the orphanage. It's 90% that this is correct so don't you dare flame me. What do you guys think happened to him?
Don't say he hit his head, I'm sure it was something much more schemed and complexed
Okay, at least say maybe someone hit his head instead of him hitting his own head

He probably hit his head at some point honestly. When I think bleeding out of your head and memory loss that's the first explanation that comes to mind. In all honesty there may be circumstances around that, failed kidnapping that was intervened, he was thrown out to die, or any number of things but odds are that they will never be touched on since he's supposed to have no past.

Hate to break another one of your threads but, quite simply, Kishi intended to build Kabuto this way. Kabuto's entire point in this series, his entire motivation, is that he feels he started with nothing. He woke up with no memory and whatever happened before that just didn't matter - he learned medical ninjutsu, met Oro, worked with him, and when Oro, the person he had dedicated his life to and felt gave him purpose, ended up dying he had nothing to do but carry on his ambitions in terms of crushing Konoha which for some reason led Kabuto to join the war effort against the alliance.

Fact of the matter is his prior life doesn't matter because that's not what drove his character development, in short.

He survived the WAR before. He probably sustained his head injury sometime during the war and then forgot everything or he tripped and fell does it matter, really? My guess is it is an injury sustained due to war he probably was attacked or cast aside or something.

I agree that it doesnt help the plot but it kinda does matter and is interesting imo. I'm sure Oro schemed Kabuto's whole life even before the orphanage. It's actually sad because I thought Kabuto was the one person Oro cared about but I'm sure Oro planned for Kabuto to kill his "mother". It was surprising seeing that Oro was like, "I dont care about Kimimaro, I want Sasuke", he said something like that the episode Kimimaro died. But seeing that Oro doesnt care for Kabuto is shocking

Naw I think 2 and a half because there's nothing left but how Kabuto met Sasori.
And thanks haha yeah Kishi is the man for creating Naruto but wtf is he doing these days?! smh. These Kabuto flashbacks, fillers, he made that chibi covered chapter for the war a while back and had Hinata clevage showing on that new movie poster like wtf kishi
